Novak Eliminates Malinowski

Level 20 : 17,500/35,000, 5,000 ante
Wiktor Malinowski
Wiktor Malinowski

Ankush Mandavia opened for 77,000 under the gun and Andrii Novak called in the cutoff. Wiktor Malinowski shoved 467K in the big blind and Mandavia bowed out. Novak was willing, though.

Novak: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Malinowski: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Malinowski flopped a straight draw on {2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. However, he couldn't overtake the pair on the {4-Spades} turn or {2-Clubs} river.

With 10 players left, the tournament is once more hand-for-hand on the final table bubble.

Nemeth Finally Busted

Level 20 : 17,500/35,000, 5,000 ante

Chris Rudolph raised to 77,000 in the cutoff and Sami Kelopuro called in the small blind. Big blind Andras Nemeth stuck in a short stack of 147K. Rudolph tried to iso but Kelopuro called for about 900K.

Kelopuro: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Rudolph: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Nemeth: {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}

It was an awful spot for Nemeth and a poor one for Rudolph. The queen held with ease and Rudolph was left short while Nemeth busted.

Double Bounty for Nuter

Level 20 : 17,500/35,000, 5,000 ante

Pulkit Goyal put in all but one chip, 231K, in the hijack. Timothy Nuter raised all in for 801K in the next seat and "77Storm77" was undeterred, calling off 473K on the button. Goyal tanked a long time then called in hopes of making a money jump.

Goyal: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Nuter: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
77Storm77: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts} board missed everyone, leaving the king kicker a winner.

Mandavia Outruns Adams

Level 20 : 17,500/35,000, 5,000 ante

Just before the level change, Ankush Mandavia opened for 66,000 and called the shove of Timothy Adams, who had 757K in the big blind.

Adams: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Mandavia: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} board was just fine for Adams until the {k-Spades} arrived.

Level: 20

Minkov Eliminated on a Beat

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 4,500 ante

Nikola Minkov shoved under the gun for 233K and Wei Zhao isolated in the small blind.

Zhao: {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Minkov: {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Everything looked golden for a Minkov dub on the {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board until a {q-Diamonds} river.

Gonzalez Can't Find a Club

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 4,500 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez got about 335K in on the button with {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} but was against the {a-}{9-} of neighbor Andrii Novak. Gonzalez whiffed the flop but did find a second club on board on the turn. He missed the river though, reducing the field to 16.

Elias Out in 18th

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 4,500 ante
Darren Elias
Darren Elias

Bruno Volkmann opened for 60,000 on the button and Darren Elias shoved about 420K. Enrico Camosci tanked and stuck in a bigger stack of 434K and Volkmann called.

Elias: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Camosci: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Volkmann: {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

It wasn't the worst spot for Volkmann but he only found a missed gutter on the {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} runout.

Parssinen Dominated and Felted

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 4,500 ante

Eelis Parssinen shoved for about 320K in the small blind with {k-Spades}{2-Hearts} and ran into a dominating {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} of Chris Rudolph. The {5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} did nothing for Parssinen.
