Dominguez Pulls One from Holz

Level 12 : 1,800/3,600, 450 ante

Action fell on Fedor Holz who raised it up to 7,560 from middle position and Juan Pardo Dominguez defended his big blind to see the {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop. Both players checked through to the {4-Clubs} turn where Dominguez bet 27,000.

Holz called and a {q-Diamonds} then completed the board. Dominguez bet 21,600 and he was quickly called by Holz who tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a pair of nines. Dominguez then showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a higher pair of dimes to scoop the pot, dropping Holz back under starting stack.

Reeves Runs into a Monster

Level 12 : 1,800/3,600, 450 ante

"judd trump" opened to 6,400 from under the gun and Lucas Reeves was directly on the left of the initial raiser when they jammed 37,055. Pascal Hartmann jammed over the top for 107,007 and "judd trump" declined.

Lucas Reeves: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Pascal Hartmann: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

The big slick of Reeves was in rough shape and a {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop was of no help. A {4-Diamonds} turn sealed it for Hartmann who then had Reeves drawing dead to the {6-Clubs} river card and Hartmann pulled in the pot with his aces.

Demirjian Flips a Double Over to Addamo

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb opened to 7,041 from under the gun, Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian three-bet to 28,723 in the cutoff and Michael Addamo four-bet shoved 39,497 on the button. Action folded back to Demirjian who called and the two tabled their hands.

Michael Addamo: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The classic flip turned into a one-sided affair when the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop landed on the virtual felt, giving Addamo a set of dimes. The {j-Hearts} turn and {7-Diamonds} river sealed the deal for Addamo who pulled in the pot with his set.

Break Time

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

The players will now be taking a five minute break and here are the top stacks thus far.

Nemeth Finds the Goods to Double

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Pedro Garagnani raised to 5,600 from early position, Timofey Kuznetsov called on the button, Andras Nemeth completed in the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski defended his big blind. The {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop rolled out and action checked to Kuznetsov who bet 7,000.

Only Nemeth called to see the {6-Clubs} turn where Kuznetsov bet 12,821 and Nemeth then check-shoved for a total of 70,499. Kuznetsov called, putting Nemeth at risk of elimination.

Kuznetsov tabled {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for top pair and a flush draw. Nemeth then showed {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, giving him a flush and straight draw although he was in a tough spot. The fortuitous {3-Hearts} landed on the river for Nemeth, giving him five hearts to take down the pot for a double.

Demirjian Back On Top

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb opened to 6,161 from the cutoff and Song "xuesong" Xue called in the small blind. Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian also called from the big blind and an {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop hit the board.

Two checks saw Gottlieb up to bat and he elected to continue for 6,908. Xue check-called and Demirjian then check-raised to 27,737. Only Gottlieb called and a {6-Hearts} peeled off on the turn.

Demirjian bet 27,494, Gottlieb shoved 222,394, and Demirjian snap-called for less, putting in 83,832. Gottlieb showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a flopped two pair but a turned six brought three for Demirjian who tabled {8-Spades}{6-Spades}. The {7-Diamonds} river cemented it for Demirjian who pulled in a double to take the lead once more in this event.

Ferreira Lands a River to Leave Gierse Short

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

Marius Gierse opened to 5,280 from the button just before the blinds jumped up a level and Rui Ferreira defended his big blind. The {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop had Ferreira check-call a bet of 3,465 from Gierse to see the {7-Diamonds} turn card where action fell on Gierse who fired in 26,790.

Ferreira called and a {3-Spades} river completed the board. Ferreira tapped to Gierse who instantly put in enough chips to move Ferreira all-in.

Ferreira called without hesitation and then turned over {10-Spades}{2-Spades} for a rivered flush which was more than enough to take down the {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs} of Gierse who flopped two pair.
