Kelopuro Eliminated on the Bubble

Level 25 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante
Kelopuro Eliminated on the Bubble
Kelopuro Eliminated on the Bubble

Sami Kelopuro raised to 50,000 and Mikita Badziakouski simply jammed his chip leading stack in from the cutoff, earning an instant call from Kelopuro for the 351,862 he had behind,

Sami Kelopuro: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Mikita Badziakouski: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop and {8-Diamonds} turn were safe but the dreadful ace fell on the {a-Clubs} river. This let the bubble burst as all remaining 13 players now have $43,864 locked up.

Badziakouski Above 1.5 Million

Level 25 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski has used the bubble period to boost his stack. In order to do so, he won two pots on the flop and claimed the blinds and antes on the other occassions.

David Peters limp-called a raise to 70,000 in a battle of the blinds and check-folded the {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. Artur Martirosian once defended the big blind versus a button min-raise and check-folded the {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop.

Small Pots for Petrangelo and Greenwood

Level 25 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Pablo Brito Silva raised to 40,000 in the final hand of the previous level and was called by Nick Petrangelo on the button. They checked all the way on the {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Spades} board and Petrangelo won the pot with {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} versus {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

The blinds moved up and Sam Greenwood min-raised to 50,000 in the hijack. Petrangelo flat-called in the cutoff and again the board of {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades} was checked all the way. Greenwood tabled {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} of Petrangelo was no good.

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante
judd trump vs Greenwood
judd trump vs Greenwood

Sam Greenwood made it 44,000 to go from the under-the-gun position. The action then reached "judd trump" in the cutoff, who three-bt to 160,000 with 7,250 behind. Greenwood clicked it back and "judd trump" called it off.

"judd trump: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Sam Greenwood: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop left "judd trump with just two outs but he gained some chop equity on the {2-Spades} turn. What followed was the blank {7-Spades} river and the field was reduced to the final 14 contenders. The money bubble will now be played in hand-for-hand mode.

Showdown Pot for Martirosian

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Artur Martirosian raised it up to 40,000 and was called by table big stack Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind. On a flop of {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Badziakouski checked and subsequently called a bet worth 37,400 by Martirosian.

The second barrel for 68,000 followed on the {k-Clubs} turn and Badziakouski check-called once more. Eventually, they checked the {2-Hearts} on the river and Matirosian prevailed in showdown with {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} versus {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.
