Sam Greenwood Eliminated in 8th Place ($82,284)

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante
Greenwood vs Badziakouski
Greenwood vs Badziakouski

Sam Greenwood made it 100,000 to go from under the gun and picked up a single caller in Mikita Badziakouski out of the big blind. The flop brought {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Badziakouski check-called for the minimum.

On the {6-Diamonds} turn, Badziakouski checked once more and Greenwood now bet 125,000. The shove by Badziakouski followed and Greenwood called for the 302,236 he had behind.

Sam Greenwood: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Mikita Badziakouski: {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The {q-Clubs} river avoided a split pot and Greenwood busted in the last hand before the five-minute break.

Kaiser Doubles Through Petrangelo

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante
Kaiser vs Petrangelo
Kaiser vs Petrangelo

Chip leader Nick Petrangelo raised to 100,000 in the hijack and called the three-bet jam by table short stack Ronny Kaiser for 350,450 in the small blind.

Ronny Kaiser: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Nick Petrangelo: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop gave Petrangelo a pair and the {k-Hearts} turn added a flush draw on top. However, the {4-Spades} river was a blank and Kaiser doubled.

No Flops in Sight

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

A series of hands without any flop concluded the level and the biggest pot emerged from a three-bet jam by "R_uida lin". Nick Petrangelo had raised the button to 80,000 and let go.

Peters Tangles With Greenwood

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Sam Greenwood made it 88,000 to go in the cutoff and was called by David Peters out of the big blind. On a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} the action was checked to Greenwood, who continued for 59,000 and earned a call.

The {5-Spades} turn was checked and Peters also checked the {3-Diamonds} on the river. Greenwood took another stab at the pot and bet 88,500 only to get called by Peters, who claimed the pot with {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} versus {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Badziakouski Takes It On the Turn

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

David Peters raised to 88,000 and called a three-bet to 216,000 by Mikita Badziakouski in the cutoff. On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, Peters check-called for 100,000 and checked again the {j-Hearts} on the turn. Badziakouski now bet 440,000 and that shut down all further resistance.

The final table kicked off with fireworks right away and David Peters claimed the first two pots. Nick Petrangelo won the third hand and Pablo Brito Silva then min-raised to 70,000 in the fourth hand while in the hijack. Stephen Chidwick Eliminated in 10th Place ($48,902)

Level 27 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante
Chidwick vs Brito Silva
Chidwick vs Brito Silva

The second shortest stack Pablo Brito Silva open-jammed and the shortest stack Stephen Chidwick called all-in from the big blind.

Stephen Chidwick: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}
Pablo Brito Silva: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop left Chidwick in need of a miracle, which never happened on the {j-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} river runout. Chidwick takes 10th place and the final nine will now combine for the final table.
