Alavali Doubles with A Better Flush Than Nuutinen

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Sergio Aido opened to 2,200 from the hijack and was called by Jargo Alavali from the small blind and Jorma Nuutinen from the big blind.

The {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts} checked around before Nuutinen decided to stab at the pot on the {10-Clubs} turn with a bet of 4,700. Aido folded and Alavali raised to 15,838.

Nuutinen called and the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Alavali used his clock before he jammed for 48,764. Nuutinen used some of his time before he made the call. Both players had a flush but Alavali's flush was better with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} with Nuutinen turning over a lower flush with {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.
