Day 2 Started
One of the biggest online poker events of the year, GGPoker Spring Festival Super MILLION$ ME-H: $10,300, $10M GTD, has gotten through five starting flights and is set for Day 2 action.
Out of 1,089 entries — which allowed the tournament to surpass its ambitious $10 million guarantee at a total of $10.89 million — 156 have advanced to play for their share of that mouth-watering prize pool. A vast majority of them will get a slice as 125 are slated to be paid.
The eventual winner will receive $1,537,605, but that won't come for a couple of days as the final table plays out Tuesday in front of a livestream audience on the GGPoker channels.
In the mean time, as expected in a big buy-in online event, the Day 2 field is filled with killers. The likes of Sergio Aido, Samuel Vousden, Ami Barer, Mike Watson, Ole Schemion, David Peters, Timothy Adams and Dan Smith are just some of the big names with above average stacks.
Play kicks off at 4:05 p.m. EDT with 10,000/20,000/2,500 as the first level of action. Stay tuned to PokerNews to see who emerges for the final table on Tuesday.
