GG Super MILLION$ ME-H Final Table

In one of the biggest online poker events of the year, a field of 1,089 — across five starting flights — in the GGPoker Spring Festival Super MILLION$ $10,300 ME-H has been reduced to a final table of nine after about seven hours of Day 2 play.

The remaining players have a very handsome prize of $1,537,605 waiting the champ, with everyone having locked up $192,201.

The player who has best positioned himself for that career-defining score is Joakim Andersson. A Swedish player without much in the way of live cashes, Andersson has been a consistent force in the biggest online stuff over the past year or so, and he'll bring a very impressive stack of more than 100 big blinds into the final day. Michael Zhang, Sergio Aido and Dan Smith were just some of the big names hitting payouts courtesy of Andersson's excellence on Day 2.

Others of note at the final table include Julian Stuer, Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov, and American pros Alex Foxen and Taylor Paur, though the latter two are among the shortest stacks.

Players who made the money but busted short of the final table included the likes of Dario Sammartino, Nick Petrangelo, Ole Schemion, Adrian Mateos, Sam Greenwood, David Peters and cash game legend Linus Loeliger.

The final table participants get the next day off before convening on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. EDT for the livestreamed final table. Come back to PokerNews and the GGPoker channels to find out who becomes the next poker millionaire.

Nicolo Molinelli Eliminated in 10th Place ($145,007); "FlowTao" Eliminated in 11th Place ($123,484)

Level 37 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante

Joakim Andersson opened in the cutoff and "FlowTao" shove for about 6.1 million on the button. Andersson quickly called with {k-}{k-}, dominating his opponent's {a-}{q-}.

The board ran {6-}{5-}{6-}{7-}{8-} and Andersson sent FlowTao packing in 11th.

Meanwhile, at the other table, action folded to the small blind, where "level29" shoved all in. Nicolo Molinelli was short in the big blind with about 2.5 million and called with {a-}{5-}. level29 had {a-}{6-} and a beautiful low board of {7-}{3-}{2-} came out to reduce the chances of a chop. The board paired with a {2-} on the turn and the river was a {6-} to bust Molinelli.

Alexandros Kolonias Eliminated in 12th Place ($105,154)

Level 37 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante
Alexandros Kolonias
Alexandros Kolonias

"level29" shoved all in from the small blind. Alex Kolonias tanked in the big before calling off for about 5.1 million.

Kolonias: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}
level29: {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Kolonias missed the {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and the {10-Clubs} turn. He needed to hit something on the river but level29 was the one improving on the {a-Spades}.

That ended an excellent short-stacked run by Kolonias.

Jeff "DollarVig" Berwick Eliminated in 13th Place ($105,154)

Level 37 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante

Joakim Andersson opened for 700,000 under the gun and Jeff "DollarVig" Berwick shoved in the cutoff for 2.7 million. Andersson called.

Andersson: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Berwick: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} was a grim flop for Berwick and he had nothing to sweat after a {5-Spades} turn.

Level 36 : 150,000/300,000, 35,000 ante

Action folded to the small blind, where Pablo Silva shoved all in for 3.5 million. Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov woke up with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and called. Silva had {j-Spades}{9-Clubs} and was just about dead on the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. The {k-Clubs} turn sealed it.

Chew Finds Another Double

Level 36 : 150,000/300,000, 35,000 ante

Nicolo Molinelli raised in the hijack and called the shove of Stevan "Steve Austin" Chew for 2.6 million on the button.

Chew: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Molinelli: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Molinelli fired in the "goodbye" emoji but his prediction was busto as it ran {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.
