The second starting flight of the GGSF Super MILLION$ ME-H: $10,300, $10M GTD is in the books after after almost nine hours of play. Day 1b attracted 158 total entries (118 player & 40 re-entries) during Tuesday's action, bringing the total to 487 total entries through the first two starting flights.

Much like Day 1a, the final level of the night saw an onslaught of casualties, with players such as Matthias Eibinger, Mikita Badziakouski and Pavlo Kolinkovskiy among those to be eliminated before play concluded for the night with chips flying all across the three remaining tables in the final level of play that led to a lot of players riding roller coasters with their stack sizes before becoming official for the evening.

At the end of the final level, only 20 players remained and Konstantin Maslak found himself atop the counts with a stack of 1,690,980. Maslak got on a late heater to climb atop the counts while Preben Stokkan (1,365,291), and Darren Elias (1,346,646) ended the night hot on his tail.

Day 1b Action

Day 1b kicked off with with 27 players in their seats from the get-go and number gradually increased to 74 by the first break. One player who got off to a hot start was Elias, who scored an early double and held a top 10 chip stack for majority of the day. New and old face continued to join the field for the trough the late registration period and once level 16 was complete, the 158 total entries became official with just 50 players still in the game.

Over the course of the next two hours, WSOP bracelet winners Chris Klodnicki, Daniel Dvoress, Damian Salas and Michael Addamo fell from the field as players were whittled down to the final 20 players. Luckily for them, there are three more chances for players to bag a stack for Sunday's Day 2 on April 18th.

End of Day 1b Chip Counts (full)

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Eibinger Last Player to Fall as Play Concludes

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Action on the table folded around to Christian Jeppsson who raised on the button before calling Matthias Eibinger's three-bet jam from the big blind.

Matthias Eibinger: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Christian Jeppsson: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Eibinger was behind holding live cards but the {5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop left him drawing to running cards as it paired Jeppsson's ace.

The {4-Diamonds} turn kept Eibinger's hopes alive with the flush draw and the river did fall a red card but it was the {10-Hearts} which eliminated Eibinger.

Badziakouski Can't Win a Flip

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

A series of raises preflop saw Mikita Badziakouski get his remining stack in the middle from the big blind and was called by Benjamin Rolle from the hijack.

Benjamin Rolle: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Mikita Badziakouski: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

It was a flip with Badziakouski looking to connect with either of his two overs but the feat was easier said then done as the {5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} runout ended his night.

Kolinkovskiy Loses Race to Greenwood

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Pavlo Kolinkovskiy open-jammed for 120,391 from middle position and was called by Lucas Greenwood from the cutoff.

Lucas Greenwood: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Pavlo Kolinkovskiy: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

It was a classic race with Kolinkovskiy ahead with his made hand and nothing changed after the {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop.

Unfortunately for Kolinkovskiy, the {a-Diamonds} appeared on the turn pairing Greenwood and another came on the river {a-Hearts}, ending Kolinkovskiy's night.

Greenwood Puts Badziakouski to the test

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Lucas Greenwood opened for 29,000 from under the gun and then called the 97,000 three-bet Mikita Badziakouski made from the small blind.

The {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop was checked by both player to the {k-Hearts} turn where Badziakouski led out for 90,000 and Greenwood called to see the {5-Hearts} complete the board on the river.

Badziakouski checked his option to Greenwood who tossed out a 396,000. The bet was enough to put Badziakouski all in and after careful consideration, Badziakouski mucked his hand giving the pot to Greenwood.
