Stevens Cracks Aces

Level 2 : 300/600, 75 ante
A set for Stevens
A set for Stevens

Bert Stevens, who gained notoriety under his alias "girafganger7" before switching to his real name on GGPoker, made it 1,500 to go first to act. From the cutoff, Aleks Ponakovs three-bet to 4,800 and Stevens called.

Stevens check-called 7,015 on the {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and 15,492 on the {7-Clubs} turn. The river was the {5-Hearts} and Stevens checked a third time. Ponakovs moved all in for 70,411 and Stevens, covering the Latvian by a hair, called with {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a set.

Ponakovs' {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} was second best and, like Reeves before, he opted for a reentry right away.

Sirichuk Doubles Through "Kunkuwap"

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy raised to 3,600 in early position, Rodrigo Sirichuk three-bet to 12,800 from the small blind and Van Der Spuy called.

The flop was {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Sirichuk continued for 8,976. Van Der Spuy simply ripped it in for 116,073 and Sirichuk timebank-called for 73,379 total.

Rodrigo Sirichuk: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The two hands were nearly equal in equity but it would be Sirichuk to get all of it after the {k-Spades} turn and {8-Spades} river ran out clean.

Sirichuk Loses it Back

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

A grand total of three hands. That's how long Rodrigo Sirichuk was able to enjoy his newfound wealth before losing it to Thomas Muehloecker. In a three-bet pot, Muehloecker held {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and flopped the joint on a {10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} board. Sirichuk bet 7,000, Muehloecker check-raised to 19,200 and Sirichuk called.

On the {7-Hearts} turn, Muehloecker bet 14,300 and Sirichuk slid in another call. The {2-Spades} completed the board and Muehloecker bet 16,250 this time. Sirichuk, holding a busted {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, went for the ill-timed bluff and shoved all in. Muehloecker called it off and shot above the 200k mark.

Aces Versus Kings for Wigg

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

An old-fashioned aces versus kings ultimately resulted in a preflop all-in between Anton Wigg and Aliaksei Boika. After a raise from Wigg, Jason Koon three-bet in the small blind. Boika four-bet from the big blind, Wigg shoved, Koon folded and Boika called.

The board ran out eight-high for Wigg to hold with ease and end it early for Boika. The Belarusian hasn't decided to reenter as of yet.
