Juan Pardo made it 2,000 to go from the hijack and was called only by Peter Turmezey out of the big blind. On a {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, Turmezey check-called for 1,200 and did so again for 5,200 on the {4-Diamonds} turn.

Turmezey then check-called the {10-Clubs} river for 17,920 and Pardo revealed {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for two pair. That was no good, as Turmezey had flopped a set with {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.
