"level29" Takes Overall Chip Lead in the GGSF Super MILLION$ High Main Event on Day 1c

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Day 1c of the $10 million guaranteed Super MILLION$ High Main Event at GGPoker witnessed 123 entries get into the action to make it 610 total entries with two more flights to go on Saturday and Sunday. Just 14 of those players survived after 22 blind levels of 20 minutes each were in the books to bring the total survivors up to 75 entrants.

India's "level29" won a big pot to eliminate GGPoker Ambassador Anatoly Filatov in a coin-flip situation near the end of the day to not only take the Day 1c chip lead with 2,276,011 but also take-over the overall chip lead from Michael Watson, who virtually bagged 1,921,636 on Day 1a.

Sergio Aido also advanced from Day 1c with more chips than Watson to so far have the second biggest stack overall. Aido stood strong while poker streamer Jargo Alavali bluffed off his stack to win a massive pot on the second to last hand of the day.

Alavali Bluffs it Off to Aido

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jargo Alavali opend to 35,200 from the cutoff before he called a three-bet by Sergio Aido from the button to 96,000. Alavali check-called bets of 76,590 on the {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs} flop and 119,090 on the {4-Hearts} turn before he jammed the {2-Clubs} river for 310,676.

Aido called and Alavali got caught with his hand in the cookie jar with {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to go out just near the end of the day. Aido won the hand with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} to go near 2 million in chips.

"level29" Over 2 Million After Eliminating Filatov

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Anatoly Filatov min-raised from the button and "level29" defended their big blind.

"level29" checked the {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop. Filatov bet 38,000 and "level29" shoved. Filatov went into the tank before he called off for 634,355.

Anatoly Filatov: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
level29: {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Filatov was actually statistically ahead by a hair when the chips got in but wasn't able to hit anything on the {3-Hearts} turn nor the {7-Spades} river and was eliminated about 13 minutes shy of the end of the day.

Matthias Eibinger: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Barer Eliminates Peters to Take the Day 1c Chip Lead

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Amichai Barer opened to 25,200 from the hijack. David Peters jammed for 215,302 from the big blind and Barer called.

David Peters: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Amichai Barer: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

It was looking good for Peters to double after he hit top pair on the {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. But he was drawing dead after Barer improved to a set on the {q-Spades} turn. The {3-Clubs} river made the hand official and there were 21 players remaining after the hand with Barer taking the chip lead for the first time today.

Just before the break, "WhatADegen" opened for 9,900 from the hijack and was called by Antonio "NewLife69DP" Gonzalez from the cutoff. Matthias Eibinger three-bet to 43,650 and "WhatADegen" jammed for 335,120. Gonzalez folded and Eibinger, who barely had his opponent covered, called.

WhatADegen: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Matthias Eibinger: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Chen's Rockets Takes Out Three Players

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Christian Rudolph was down to crumbs on his second bullet after he doubled up Stephen Chidwick and they went in from early position. Pete Chen raised to 3,000 from middle position before Romain "Flingue" Dours three-bet to 10,000 from the cutoff. Alexandre "SexyBaldGuy" Mantovani, 100000 four-bet jammed for 46,940 from the cutoff. Chen called before and Dours five-bet jammed for 130,889. Chen called that as well and it was a four-way showdown for a ton of chips.

Christian Rudolph: {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Alexandre "SexyBaldGuy" Mantovani: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Romain "Flingue" Dours: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Pete Chen: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The {4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board didn't push anyone past Chen's rockets and Chen took three players' chips in one hand. Rudolph re-entered for his third Day 1c bullet while Mantovani and Dours at least for now are still on the sidelines.
