Third Break

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Day 1c is on its third short-break.

Big Slick for O'Dwyer

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Norbert "ElCabanero" Szecsi opened for 4,000 from the cutoff. Stephen O'Dwyer three-bet to 12,000 from the button. Szecsi four-bet jammed to 85,546 and O'Dwyer called.

Norbert "ElCabanero" Szecsi: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Stephen O'Dwyer: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Szecsi was unable to connect with the {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} board and O'Dwyer took all his chips to surge past 400K.

Cornell Dishes Bad Beat to Klann

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Tyler "TheRayGuy" Cornell opened for 4,000 from early position. Paul "Arbutus77" Klann threebet to 10,375 from the button before he called a four-bet by Cornell to 28,000.

Cornell check-called a bet of 20,848 on the {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Spades} flop. Cornell then jammed after the {a-Spades} came on the turn and Klann called off for 86,375.

Paul "Arbutus77" Klann: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Tyler "TheRayGuy" Cornell: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Klann was well ahead with a set but Cornell hit his two outer after the {a-Clubs} completed the board on the river to eliminate Klann at least for now and take the Day 1c chip lead.

Eibinger Takes the Chip Lead

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Michael Addamo three-bet the cutoff to 12,320 and Matthias Eibinger called from the hijack.

Eibinger fired out for 25,226 on the {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop before he check-called a bet of 41,875 on the {a-Diamonds} turn. Both players checked the {q-Hearts} river and Eibginer won the hand to take the chip lead with {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} against Addamo's {j-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Jeff "DollarVig" Berwick opened for 3,200 from the small blind and was called by Marius Gierse from the big blind.

Berwick fired out for 2,574 on the {9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and 9,711 on the {3-Clubs} turn and Gierse called him both times.

The {a-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Berwick bet 32,370. Gierse jammed and Berwick called off for 103,496.

Gierse showed {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush and he doubled up Berwick who held {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a full house.

Addamo Doubles with Queens

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Matthias Eibinger opened for 3,520 from the cutoff before Michael Addamo three-bet to 12,320 from the button. Ian "potamophobia" Matakis four-bet to 33,600 from the small blind before he called Addamo's five-bet jam to 140,507.

Michael Addamo: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Ian "potamophobia" Matakis: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The {4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} board was good enough for Addamo's queens to hold and he doubled up his stack.

Matakis was left with about 19K after the hand and this went over to Adrian Mateos a few hands later.

Full House for Alavali to Eliminate Bicknell

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Jargo Alavali opened for 3,520 from early position and was called by Kristen Bicknell from the big blind.

Bicknell check-called bets of 3,116 on the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop and 10,344 on the {10-Hearts} turn.

The {2-Spades} river completed the board and Bicknell check-jammed from 20,798 to 68,452. Bicknell turned over {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} and hit the rail at least for now with Alavali nailing a full house with {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

Full House for Filatov

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Alexandros Theologis opened for 4,000 from the button and GGPoker Ambassador Anatoly Filatov called from the big blind.

Filatov check-raised the {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop from 3,120 to 10,212 and Theologis called. Filatov bet 12,572 after the {7-Hearts} turn paired the board. Theologis raised to 35,756 and Filatov called. Filatov jammed for 91,230 on the {a-Diamonds} river and Theologis called. Filatov held {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a full house to win the hand and take the chip lead as this was strong enough to beat the two pair held by Theologis with {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.
