Top Five Stacks Entering Level 21

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

"totogosu" took the chip lead to start Level 21.

Late registration will end in a few minutes at which time we report the total prize pool and payouts.

Blinds: 6,000/12,000

Ante: 1,500

Fourth Try for Holz

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante

Fedor Holz jammed from under the gun for 14 big blinds with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and was called by Arsenii "kastaban" Karmatckii with {a-}{q-}.

Both the {a-} and {j-} hit the flop. Holz was unable to further improve his hand and hit the rail for the third time.

The table broke after the hand and Holz re-entered at a new table for a fresh stack of 100,000 for his fourth bullet.

Shlez Nails a Flush

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante

Pascal Hartmann jammed for 91,274 from the button. Vadim "gamblergirl" Shlez three-bet jammed over the top for 165,099 and got a fold from the player in the big blind.

Pascal Hartman: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Vadim "gamblergirl" Shlez: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Shlez was ahead and the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop gave him a flush draw. The {7-Spades} double-paired the board on the turn and it was looking likely the pot would end with a chop.

However, the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river to give Shlez a flush and Hartmann hit the rail with about 15 minutes remaining in late registration to get back in if he so chooses.

Matakis Loses a Flip to Jeppson

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Ian "potamophobia" Matakis jammed from the small blind for less than 20 big blinds and was called by Christian "CharlieD23" Jeppsson in the big blind.

Ian "potamophobia" Matakis: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Christian "CharlieD23" Jeppsson: {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Jeppsson came out on top of the flip after he paired up on the {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board and Matakis hit the rail.

Cowboys for Moraes

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Rafael "TheBigKid" Moraes raised to 16,000 from the cutoff. Ian "potamophobia" Matakis three-bet jammed from the big blind and Moraes called off for 217,611.

Rafael "TheBigKid" Moraes: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Ian "potamophobia" Matakis: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} gave Matakis a straight draw. But he didn't improve to a straight nor a flush with the {2-Diamonds} coming on the turn followed by the {10-Spades} on the river to double up Moraes.
