Yan Eliminates Coleman

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Just before the blinds increased, David Yan eliminated David Coleman.

Yan jammed the button with {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Coleman called off for about 13 big bilnds from the small blind with {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

The {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop was a good one for Coleman but the {a-Spades} turn was not as it paired up Yan. The {9-Hearts} paired the board on the river and Coleman was eliminated.

Foxen Eliminates Wigg

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante

Isaac Haxton opened for 22,000 from under the gun. Alex Foxen raised to 69,000 from the hijack before Anton Wigg four-bet jammed for 263,669 from the button. Haxton folded and Foxen called.

Anton Wigg: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Alex Foxen: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Wigg was eliminated to leave 26 players remaining in the Day 1b field after he was unable to connect with the {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts} board.

Ladies No Good for Bicknell

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante

Vlad Martynenko limped from the small blind. Kristen Bicknell raised to 27,000 and Martynenko re-raised to 68,000. Bicknell four-bet jammed for 210,675 and Martynenko called.

Kristen Bicknell: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Vlad Martynenko: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

It was quite a cooler for queens to come up against kings in a blind on blind situation and not one Bicknell could survive. The {j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} board gave both players a flush but Martynenko eliminated Bicknell with the better one.

Zhao Eliminates O'Dwyer

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante

Stephen O'Dwyer opened for 20,000 from early position. Wei Zhao three-bet to 50,000 from one seat over. O'Dwyer four-bet jammed for 205,183 and Zhao called.

Stephen O'Dwyer: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Wei Zhao: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades} board didn't help O'Dwyer and there were 30 players remaining on Day 1b after he was eliminated.

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Alex Foxen bet 25,600 from the small blind and was called by Pavel "EzzzGame" Plesuv in the big blind.

Foxen led out for 13,968 after the {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts} came on the flop and got a call. Foxen check-called a bet of 28,425 after the {4-Clubs} followed on the turn.

The {5-Spades} came on the river and Foxen checked again. Plesuv bet 94,371 and called off for another 136,030 more after Foxen raised.

Plesuv showed {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for two pair but was eliminated to leave 31 players remaining on Day 1b with Foxen holding a better two pair with {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.
