Perouse Takes From Shehadeh

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Luigi "shadinho94" Shehadeh made it 44,000 to go from under the gun and was called only by Julien "GiuseppeL" Perouse in the big blind.

Following a {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, Perouse checked and subsequently called a bet worth 88,500 by Shehadeh. They checked the {10-Hearts} turn and the {3-Spades} turn and Perouse check-called another 238,750 on the {3-Spades} river.

Shehadeh tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Perouse had that beat with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for the superior kicker.

Rohr Takes From Caetano

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Joao Caetano opened to 40,000 and was called by Steven "MikeHawk" Rohr on the button. On a flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Caetano continued for 85,800 and earned a call by Rohr to then bet the {j-Clubs} turn for 150,800 and earn another call.

The {4-Clubs} river was checked and Caetano tabled {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, which Rohr had beat with the {j-Spades}{10-Spades} for trips tens.

Karmatckii Doubles; Benitez Busts

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante
Benitez vs Asensio
Benitez vs Asensio

Arsenii Karmatckii three-bet jammed his short stack on the button with the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} and was called by the initial raiser Michael Addamo in middle position with the {j-Spades}{10-Spades}. Karmatckii made trips aces on the {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} board.

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez was not as fortunate. He three-bet jammed in the hijack with a short stack of around 20 blinds and Marcelo Asensio called from under the gun.

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Marcelo Asensio: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop improved Asensio to kings and queens, which remained ahead on the {9-Clubs} turn and {9-Spades} river.

Zerjav Shot Down by Demirjian

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante
Demirjian vs Zerjav
Demirjian vs Zerjav

Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian raised to 44,000 from the middle position and Blaz Zerjav three-bet shoved from the button for 206,964. The blinds folded and Demirjian made the call with the bigger stack.

Blaz Zerjav: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs} for Demirjian to flop the flush draw and complete it on the river to eliminate Zerjav in 119th place.

Yan and Adams First to Bust

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Timothy Adams was the first to bust in a battle of the blinds when {10-Hearts}{9-Spades} was no good versus {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}. The board ran out {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and that spelled the end for the Canadian.

David Yan fell next. He defended the big blind against the raise by Alexandros Kolonias and bet the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop for 57,523 with very few chips behind. Kolonias jammed and Yan called.

David Yan: {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Alexandros Kolonias: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {8-Clubs} turn and the {j-Hearts} river failed to improve Yan and he was sent to the rail.
