Foxen eliminated by Yankov

Alex Foxen raised to 2,100,000 from the cutoff and Krasimir Yankov three-bet shoved from the big blind with the bigger stack for Foxen to make the call for the 2,240,188 he had left.

Alex Foxen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Krasimir Yankov: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} for Yankov to hold with the higher kicker to eliminate Foxen in eleventh place.

Lots of Jamming; No Calling

Level 39 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante

Several players moved all-in but none of them received a call. Thomas Muehloecker, for example, three-bet jammed against Ben Ward and found no resistance.

Ward also raise-folded against a jam by Wei Zhao, who flashed the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Ole Schemion open-jammed and claimed the blinds and antes.

Ben Ward raised to 700,000 from under the gun and Benjamin "Geraaaard" Chalot flat-called in the cutoff. On the {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Ward continued for 878,000 and Chalot eventually folded.

Foxen Loses Some to Yankov

Level 39 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante

Several smaller pots were played on the second table and Alex Foxen was able to build some profit on his short stack.

However, that all vanished in the last hand before the break versus Krasimir Yankov.

Foxen opened to 700,000 and Yankov called. On the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Yankov checked and that triggered a bet of 612,000 by Foxen. Yankov then check-raised to 1,750,000 and forced a fold.

Muehloecker Loses Against Aces and Wins With Aces

Thomas Muehloecker raised to 770,000 from under the gun and Wei Zhao three-bet shoved from the cutoff for 2,466,268. The action folded back to Muehloecker who made the call.

Wei Zhao: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for Zhao to hold with the rockets to double through Muehloecker.

In the next hand, Ben Ward shoved from the small blind and Muehloecker called in the big blind for the 4,116,996 he had left after paying the big blind and ante.

Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Ben Ward: {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for Muehloecker to double too.

Muehloecker vs Ward

Out of the small blind, Ben Ward moved all-in and was called by a far shorter-stacked Thomas Muehloecker in the big blind.

Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Ben Ward: {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} board gave Muehloecker a winning flush on the turn already.

Ward got some of those chips back the next hand when Javier Gomez raised to 600,000 and he flat-called on the button. Gomez check-called the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{8-Spades} flop for 930,000 and check-folded the {4-Spades} turn when Ward bet 1.86 million for half the pot.

Chalot Doubles Through Zhao

Level 38 : 150,000/300,000, 35,000 ante

Benjamin "Geraaaard" Chalot completed his small blind and Wei Zhao opted to check his big blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, Chalot bet 555,000 and Zhao went along.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and Chalot continued with a bet of 900,000 and was called again.

The river completed the board with the {6-Hearts} and Chalot decided to shove for 2,190,296 and Zhao called with the {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for top pair but Chalot held the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for the overpair and the double-up.
