Marcher Folds at Least Trips

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Avi Butz bet 18,000 into a pot of around 35,000 with the {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} on the board. Marcher appeared to be in pain and was attempting to talk with his opponent who didn't respond at all.

About three minutes later, Marcher folded and turned over the {9-Diamonds} and the dealer sent the pot over to Butz.

Toloraia Cracks Gonzalez' Aces

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Aleksi Toloraia bet 3,000 into a pot of around 5,000 with the {7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} on the board. Jose Gonzalez Ribot raised to 8,000 and Toloraia called.

Both players checked after the {6-Hearts} came on the river. Toloraia turned over {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a straight. Ribot for a moment appeared to not see the straight and turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}. The dealer told him that Toloraia indeed had him beat and began preparing for the next hand.

Flush for Quintas

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Abel Quintas opened from under the gun before he called a three-bet from Enrique Garcia De Blas from the big blind to 6,000.

Garcia De Blas bet 7,500 after the {2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Hearts} came on the flop. Quintas raised to 15,000 and Garcia De Blas quickly three-bet jammed for about 80,000. Quintas just as quickly called with the approximately 70,000 he had in his stack.

Enrique Garcia De Blas: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Abel Quintas: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Garcia De Blas was ahead when the chips got into the pot. However, the {q-Diamonds} came on the turn followed by the {7-Diamonds} on the river to give Quintas a flush and a big pot.

Garcia De Blas showed his displeasure and immediately huffed away from the table leaving his phone before coming back to the table a couple of hands later.

Meanwhile, at other tables, Stefanos Giannakopoulos, Tom-Aksel Bedell and Michail Tastanis hit the rail. They still have plenty of time to get back into today's Day 1b field or choose one of the other opening flights in hopes of advancing to Day 2 and beyond.

Kings Vs. Jacks

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Aleksi Toloraia with {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Jose Gonzalez Ribot with {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} were all-in preflop in what appeared to be a pot of more than 200,000 in chips with Toloraia having his opponent covered.

The {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts} ran out on the board and Toloraia's kings held strong.

Ribot wasn't one of the players to initially add-on. He did so after the hand and had 20,000 in chips before the next hand was dealt.
