Staunton's Tournament Isn't Over

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Iftikhar Ali opened to 375,000 and Gary Staunton moved all in for slightly less, putting himself at risk as the cards were tabled.

Gary Staunton: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Iftikhar Ali: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Although Staunton started off ahead for this flip, the flop of {k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} put Ali way in the lead. But Staunton's tournament wasn't over yet, as the miracle {9-Hearts} smacked down on the turn, giving him a full house. The {6-Hearts} completed the board and he secured the much-needed double up.

Battle of the Big Stacks

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Ian Roberts opened to 300,000 from early position and was then three-bet to 700,000 by chipleader Young Seo Yoon. Action folded back around to Roberts, who made the call.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and both players checked to the turn {j-Hearts}

Roberts then led out for a large bet of 775,000 and Yoon thought for only a second before making the laydown.

Morton Doubles Through Wong

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Pre-flop Christopher Kightley opened and Luke Morton three-bet to 800,000.

Tsz Chun Wong then four-bet all in, covering both opponents. Kightley folded but Morton eventually called for 3,245,000.

Luke Morton: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Tsz Chun Wong: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The pocket pair held on the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs} board, with Kightley revealing he had folded pocket nines and would have flopped a full house. But it was Morton who scooped the pot, doubling to over 6,500,000.

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Blind on blind, Trevor Yu got his last 1,050,000 in with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} against the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} of Gary Staunton.

Yu spiked a deuce on the {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades} runout to double up and stay alive.

Wyse Gets There on River

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

On a heads-up turn of {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}, Susan Hammett bet 450,000 into a pot of around 800,000. David Wyse made the call and the two opponents saw the river {j-Spades}.

"how much have you got behind?" Hammett asked Wyse, and he showed her she was covered by a couple million.

She decided to check her action to him and Wyse then tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a rivered pair of jacks.

"Wowwwww," Hammett sighed as she mucked her cards. "Nice catch, my friend," she continued, shaking her head as Wyse raked in the pot of around two million.

Shane Ross: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Marc Harris: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

There was a ten on the flop of {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} giving Ross a set. The turn {2-Clubs} and river {9-Hearts} didn't change anything and he doubled up.

Ace Ball Delivered for Trigg

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

S Yolmeh opened to 350,000 from early position, but then David Trigg in late position moved all in for 2,100,000. Then Connor Charlton in the small blind moved all in as well for slightly less and Yolmeh folded. The two remaining players tabled their cards, with Charlton at risk.

Connor Charlton: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
David Trigg: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Charlton was ahead going into this bout, but the flop of {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} brought Trigg into the lead as he paired his ace, which left Charlton drawing to the remaining king or runner-runner queen-jack. However, neither happened as the board completed with the {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to give Trigg the victory for a big double-up and eliminated Charlton.

"There we go, baby! Trigg shouted, "dealer delivered the ace ball!"

Prazer Wakes Up with Aces

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Charlton Tarimo opened to 260,000. Neil Rowicki moved all in for around 250,000 and Kenny Prazer called all in from the big blind.

Tarimo tabled {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} with Rowicki showing {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Prazer had only shown the {a-Spades} and was still in the process of peeling his second card. He revealed the {a-Hearts} having woken up with aces in the big blind.

The aces held on the {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} board, sending Rowicki to the rail and more than doubling up Prazer.
