2025 Grosvenor GOLIATH
Richard Trigg's quest for a record-breaking fourth GUKPT Main Event title is still intact, as he's in the final four after busting Nicholas Drinkwater.
Drinkwater got in his short-stack with ace-seven, and was up against Trigg's queen-ten.
Trigg found a ten on the turn to take the lead and held out after a clean river.
Josh Curry just thinned the field to six players, as his pocket sevens held out against Iman Sarkeshik's ace-four after the chips went in preflop.
Sarkeshik was awarded £28,480 for his deep run.
There's been another casualty in the GUKPT Main Event, with Ravi Sheth knocking out Jay O'Leary.
Sheth held a dominating ace, and paired up to send O'Leary to collect his £19,670 prize from the payout desk.
Sheth holds the chip lead, with Richard Trigg close behind. Katie Swift's goal to become the first female GUKPT winner is still achievable, but she'll need some help as she sits 5/7.
