Pu Eliminated by Papazian

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Alexandru Papazian raised to 3,200 from middle position and saw Jerry Pu shove for his final 18,000 from the big blind, which Papazian called.

Papazian: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Pu: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Board: {2-}{9-}{q-}{q-}{k-}

Pu hit top pair on the flop and trips on the turn, but the king on the river gave Papazian the straight to steal the pot at the death.

Trips For O'Neill

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Jack O'Neill raised to 2,500 from under the gun and received four callers. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, and James Rann bet 4,000 from middle position, which only O'Neill called.

Heads-up to the {a-Spades} turn, and both players checked. The river as the {a-Clubs} and O'Neill bet 13,000. Rann needed to use a time bank for think but ultimately called. O'Neill tabled {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for trips and took down the pot.

Morreale Vs French

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The action was opened with a raise to 2,500 from early position and Lee French 3-bet to 7,500 from middle position. Calogero Morreale cold-called, and the initial raiser folded.

The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Morreale called a 6,000 bet from French.

French slowed down on the {8-Hearts} turn and then called a 12,000 bet from Morreale.

On the {6-Hearts} river, Morreale moved all in for 32,000 after French had checked. The latter needed a time bank card to consider his decision, with a stack just over the amount needed to call.

As the dealer announced 10 seconds, French passed his cards into the muck, and Morreale picked up the pot.

Zervos Eliminated by Hills

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Andrew Hills
Andrew Hills

The flop was down {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades} and with around 7,000 in the middle, the action checked through to the {7-Hearts} turn. Andrew Hills bet 4,400 and Alexios Zervos called. The {6-Hearts} hit on the river, which meant there was a straight on the board.

Hills moved all in for around 40,000, and Zervos put his last 13,000 into the middle after a few seconds of thought.

Hills revealed {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for the higher straight, and Zervos open-mucked {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} before he departed from the table.

Team Grosvenor's Hills moved up to 70,000.
