Players On 40 Minute Break

Level 4 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

All players in the field have been sent on a 40-minute break.

When they return play will be in level 5, with blinds at 200/300 with a 300 big blind ante.

Set Versus Straight Benefits Linton, Busts Yerby

Level 4 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

With three players seeing a turn of {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}, it was Navas Robles betting 5,300 into Paul Linton in middle position and Jay Yerby in the cutoff. Linton had just called the 5,300 from Robles, but Yerby wasted no time moving all in for around 20,000.

Robles let his hand go fairly quickly and Linton snapped off the jam, covering Yerby.

Jay Yerby: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Paul Linton: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

It was a rough one for Yerby, who had flopped a set against Linton's turned straight. The {7-Diamonds} only gave Linton a 'mega straight' and busted Yerby after he failed to pair the board. Linton sits among the early chip leaders as we head into break.

Wang Pumps It Into Condon

Level 4 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

With a raise to 900 from early position from Lei Wang, Cian Condon called from the cutoff before the small blind threw in calling chips too. The big blind folded and they were three-ways to a flop.

{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} fell, causing Wang to continue for 1,600. Condon made the call and the small blind got out of the way.

On a {a-Clubs} turn Wang didn't slow down, gesturing to see Condon's stack. He then decided to keep the pressure on, betting 3,400. Condon mulled over his decision before calling, leaving himself 9,200 behind.

It was a welcome sight to Condon when Wang put him all in on the {5-Hearts} river, as Condon snapped.

Wang showed {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} against the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} full-house of Condon to give him the full double.

Sandford Welcomes Nixon to the Table

Level 4 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Jamie Nixon
Jamie Nixon

Jamie Nixon had just sat down at the table and was involved in a pot against George Sandford.

PokerNews arrived to the hand late, but they were heads-up on a river with the board reading {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Sandford was all in from the cutoff with around the same stack as Nixon, the pot about 11,000 chips in the pot. Nixon, who was under-the-gun, decided to let this one go facing the jam, giving Sandford the pot.

It's worth noting players can re-enter on Day 1a twice, giving them three entries total on the flight.

Everyone Loves A Chop Pot!

Level 3 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With around 2,000 in the middle, Navas Robles had called a bet of 1,500 from Paul Linton on a board of {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The turn brought in the {a-Clubs} and Robles then lead for 2,000, which was called by Linton.

A blank hit the river and both players checked their option and tabled their cards.

Robles had {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} versus the {k-Spades}{7-Spades} of Linton, for a chopped pot.
