Kando with the Aces

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Earlier Norbert Kando made a Royal Flush on the stream, and in this hand he limped for 200 and Eddie Sherrock raised to 800. Calogere Morreale three-bet to 2,300.

It folded back around to Kando who four-bet all in for just over starting stack. Sherrock folded.

"I'm going to have to fold a big hand here," said Morreale who open-folded {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Kando turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and took down the pot.

"Easiest fold with jacks I've ever had to make," said Morreale.

Up and Down and Out for Tate

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Philip Tate shoved on a {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop for 13,000 and was called by Timothy Wright for 12,200.

Philip Tate: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Timothy Wright: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Wright had flopped a set and held despite the {8-Diamonds} coming on the turn, with the {j-Diamonds} coming on the river.

With 800 left, on the next hand Paul Grummitt opened and called the shove from Tate.

Philip Tate: {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Paul Grummitt: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Tate had run into pocket aces, but picked up a pair on the {5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop. The turn {4-Diamonds} improved him to two pair and he held on the {10-Clubs} river.

However, Tate's success was short-lived as we soon spotted him exiting the tournament area.

No Ace Means Bader Wins

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A player opened to 700 and Martin Bader three-bet to 2,600 in the next position. The original raiser called and check-called 1,700 on the {7-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop, and a further 2,700 on the {a-Spades} turn.

The river was the {8-Hearts}. Both players checked and bader showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for second pair. His opponent mucked and Bader won the pot.
