Here and Back Again, Moneymaker Bounces Ingram Shortly After Reentry

Level 8 : 300/600, 50 ante

Tommy Ingram busted earlier today, then went to play a satellite. He won a seat and sat back down in the middle of level eight. He busted shortly after, when he got into a hand with HPO Ambassador Chris Moneymaker.

Moneymaker opened the action with a 1,300 raise. Adam Hirsch and Minx Wiggins called before Ingram reraised to 3,800.

Moneymaker four bet to 8,300 and the action folded back to Ingram who tossed in one chip to call.

On the {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop, Ingram shoved all in. Moneymaker called and turned over {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Ingram was in trouble, showing {a-}{q-}.

The board finished {2-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Moneymaker shook Ingram's hand and sent him back to the rail.

Smith Knocks Out Tassone

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Josh Smith and HPO Ambassador Chris Moneymaker were heads up to the flop, while Paul Tassone was all in.

The action was relatively quiet, until the turn on the {9-}{5-}{6-}{7-} board. Moneymaker bet 20,000 and Smith shoved all in for 43,000. Moneymaker then folded.

Smith has flopped a set of nines and rivered a full house, which was more than enough to eliminate Tassone.

Melkersen Rolls

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Mike Melkersen just eliminated Paul Geibler when he made a pair of jacks on the flop. Melkersen has flown to the top of the leaderboard and is sitting about 20,000 clear of the next closest player.

Wiggins on the Decline

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Minx Wiggins has been losing more than he's been winning during this level. He already doubled up Paul Priest and now he doubled up Paul Geibler.

Geibler flopped a full house and got paid off on the river when he went all in for his last 11,000. Wiggins called and seemed mildly distraught at his current downswing. His table is breaking, so time will tell if the seat change will help him change directions.

Holy Priest

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Peter Priest is approaching 100,000. He recently doubled through Minx Wiggins and on this hand took down a mid-sized pot.

Four players saw the {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop for 2,000. They all checked to the {3-Clubs} on the turn. Priest led for 3,000 and Paul Geibler was the lone caller.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and both players checked. Priest took down the hand with {6-}{6-}.
