Phil Vera has gone on a heater and is over 70,000. Some of those chips have come from Minx Wiggins, but the two now have pretty equal stacks.
On this hand, Vera won a pot off Mike Stonehill. The board read and Vera beat Stonehill into the pot. Stonehill bet 3,000 and once Vera realized he was acting out of position, he called.

In one of his first attempts to get back his original stack from Minx Wiggins, Phil Vera called a river bet of 4,000 and lost.

Denny Grizzle and Mike Melkersen just checked down a hand and Grizzle won with ace high.

The flop came and the action checked to Melkersen, who bet 2,000. Grizzle raised to 6,500 and Melkersen called.
The two were heads up to the turn. They both checked the turn and river, , and Grizzle took down the hand with . He looked as though he didn't expect to win after missing his flush draw, but Melkersen mucked his hand, unable to beat the ace high of Murray.
Howard Mann just eliminated Mike Stonehill. Mann opened the action with a raise from the button to 1,000. The action fell to Stonehill in the big blind. Stonehill shoved for about 8,000. Mann tossed a chip out to call and it was a race.
Stonehill was ahead with against the of Mann. The board ran out and Stonehill was eliminated.
Phil Vera says he's back and looking for revenge on Minx Wiggins. Earlier today Wiggins made a flush against Vera and left him very short. He busted shortly after that.
Now on his second bullet, Vera is seated opposite Wiggins and will have a chance to get back some of his initial stack.
