The Chip Leader So Far

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

van den Bijgaart Arrives

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Joep van den Bijgaart just sat down and played his very first hand. On the {4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} river, he paid off the 4,200 bet of an opponent and then mucked when shown {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Well, that escalated quickly.

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

We get to the table with approximately 8,000 in the pot and a meager 1,000 bet sitting in front of Darryll Fish on a {Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{4-Hearts} board. His lone opponent is Galen Hall who tosses the call out casually into the middle. Fish showed {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Hall mucked his hand but not before saying to Fish "trying to induce a raise there?"

"No comment," said Fish, a sly smile on his face.

Metalidi Almost Tripled Up

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Artem Metalidi has been playing for roughly 20 minutes and nearly tripled up his stack. Calvin Anderson on the same table is on bullet number six and Connor Drinan first quadrupled up and then doubled up again to get above starting stack. A few further names have re-entered.

Drinan is Drowning

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

On the {K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} turn, Connor Drinan put an opponent all in that had slightly less chips and the latter called off for his last 13,225 with {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. Drinan held {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the middle pair and flush draw, but the {K-Clubs} river was of no help for him.

He will likely try to get the remainder of his stack in soon to re-enter or double up a few times. Chris Hunichen already got that done, we are not entirely sure if he will buy in again or not.
