No Nice Welcome for Boeree

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the {9-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Liv Boeree led out and called the all in of an opponent for 10,425 chips with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. She faced {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and was way ahead. The {4-Hearts} turn was a blank but the {K-Spades} river gave the opponent trips.

Boeree just sat down like 15 minutes ago and lost almost half her stack on that hand.

Salter Fades Fours

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Jack Salter is doing better than his younger brother and doubled up. He raised preflop and got two callers. On the {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, he continued for 2,600 and then bet 9,250 on the {7-Hearts} turn. One of the two opponents pushed him all in and Salter called with aces for his 15,000 chips behind.

The opponent held pocket fours and the river blanked to see Salter double through.

Kling Pays Off Opponent

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the {2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} board, Lauren Kling paid off an opponent for 1,000 on each street and was shown {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a full house on the river. Kling could not beat that and mucked her cards.

Peters And Salter Out

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Tobias Peters was rather short and we saw him quickly heading to the rail. Only one minute later, Louis Salter followed. He got the remainder of his stack in with {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and got called by an opponent with the {Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}. The {K-Clubs} on the turn saw the young Brit running out of hope for a comeback and he is out as well.

Fischer With the Two-Outer

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

After a raise to 800 and two callers, Bastian Fischer moved all in for 13,075 chips from the button. The player in the small blind tanked for a bit and then announced call with not that many more chips and all other opponents folded. Fischer had the {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} and the opponent turned over {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}.

"Oh wow," the opponent said after the {2-Hearts} popped up right in the window. The remaining board ran out {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and the German doubled up. One of the cold callers in seat one joked "Would you rather be good or lucky?" A combination of the two would likely be perfect.

Excited for a Second

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} turn, Simon Deadman bet 6,400 and got raised to 13,700. The Brit made a reluctant call and then both players got their stacks in after the {5-Spades} river. "Man, I really thought you had aces there," said the opponent before turning over {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Deadman had the same hand and they chopped it.
