Nostradamus?

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

According to the players at Table 34, it all started with a raise to 400 and then Jim Boyd made it 1,100 to go. It was folded to Mike Wynn who popped it up to 3,300. The original raiser folded and the action was on Boyd who according to Wynn "snap folded face up pocket kings."

Wynn said Boyd deserved to see that he'd made a good fold and showed him his pocket aces. "I was just amazed how fast he folded though," said Wynn.

Kuo Gets More

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Kitty Kuo increased her stack after flopping a full house with {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} on the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Her opponent turned the flush with {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} when the {4-Clubs} turned up and that was also when the money went in. The opponent was already drawing dead and a brick on the river changed nothing at all.

Carroll Applying Pressure

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

James Carroll opened for 650 and the player to his immediate left in Seat 3 reraised to 1,950. It was folded back around to Carroll who made the call. The flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Carroll checked. His opponent made a bet of 1,950 and Carroll was fairly quick to check-raise that bet to 5,350. His opponent made the call.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Carroll led out for 8,300. His opponent thought for maybe ten seconds and then released his hand.

Full House for Watts

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{K-Spades} flop, the player in the small blind bet 1,200 and only Steven Watts made the call to see the {Q-Hearts} turn. Both players checked and the {10-Spades} river completed the board.

Watts made it 4,000 to go and was called rather quickly by {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}, but that was only second best to the {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of the Brit.

A few more notables made it into the tournament by now as well and we have added them to the chip counts.

Hall is Having a Ball

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Galen Hall three-bet an open raise from 400 to 1,200 and the two of them saw the {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop. A small bet was called and on the {8-Hearts} turn, the opponent of Hall check-raised him all in.

Hall had bet 3,000 and called all in with the {9-Spades}{4-Clubs} to pick up the pot versus {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} once the {2-Diamonds} completed the board.

Kitty Kuo doubled up as well.
