Moon Hits the River

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Chris Moon opened with {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} on the button to 180,000 and Bryant Miller called with {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} as did the big blind with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

On the {4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, action checked to Moon and he bet 160,000. Miller called and they were heads up to the {k-Clubs}, which checked through. The river was a {5-Diamonds} and Miller checked. Moon bet 525,000 and Miller went into the tank for about a minute then slid his cards in.

Players are on break.

Zverkhovskyy Doubles Through Salazar

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Eric Salazar opened for 90,000 with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Artem Zverkhovskyy defended with {j-Spades}{9-Spades}.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Spades} and Salazar bet 70,000. Zverkhovskyy made it 250,000 and Salazar called. On the {4-Spades} turn, Zverkhovskyy bet 325,000 and Salazar made it 1.2 million. Zverkhovskyy shoved and Salazar called less than enthusiastically for about another 1 million.

The {9-Hearts} river didn't pair the board and the flush stayed best for Zverkhovskyy.

Mike O'Neill Eliminated in 6th Place ($29,178)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Mike O'Neill
Mike O'Neill

Mike O'Neill opened for 90,000 with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and got action from Chris Moon on the button with {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and big blind Eric Salazar with {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts} and O'Neill continued for 130,000, with Salazar check-calling. On the {2-Hearts} turn, Salazar checked and O'Neill bet 250,000. Salazar jammed for 1.3 million and O'Neill thought about 30 seconds and flicked in a call.

The players showed down and Salazar said the sweat was real. He needed to fade a decent chunk of cards but the river was a safe {8-Hearts}.

Left under a big blind, O'Neill busted in short order.
