VanderWoude Triples

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Michael VanderWoude opened on the button and saw both blinds shove on him with covering stacks. He quickly called off and turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. He was fading Ruslan Sladkov's {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the big blind's {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

The {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} was clean for VanderWoude and he collected 59,500 from each foe. Sladkov was covered in the small side pot so he went bust.

Vang Declares His Foe Bluff-Free

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Kou Vang checked in the small blind on {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and an opponent in middle position bet 23,000. Vang called, bringing a {7-Spades} river. No sooner had he tapped the table for a check than an announcement of "all in" was heard.

"Ah, you don't have any bluffs here," Vang said confidently, throwing his hand away.

Siemienas Doubles Through Casino

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Gerald Siemienas
Gerald Siemienas

Gerald Siemienas shoved for 30,500 on the button after Craig Casino opened for 6,500 in the cutoff. Casino called but his {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} was dominated by {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. The {10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board only furthered Siemienas' advantage with a straight and he collected a double.

Ibrahim Busted With Aces Up

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

After an {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, Rashad Ibrahim check-raised all in with {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and was up against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} of Frank Cerminara. The turn was a {4-Clubs} but the river a {q-Diamonds} and Ibrahim was felted, sending his last 110,000 or so across the table.

Ibrahim Finds His Pairs

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Rashad Ibrahim opened early and called a shove from a player in the cutoff who had about 36,000. It was Ibrahim's {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flipping against {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. The {10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} board brought both of his pairs and he scooped the pot.

Huge Bink for Fisher Before Break

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

We didn't see whether stacks got in on the flop or turn, but Paul Fisher was down to one out going to fifth street with {4-}{4-} against an opponent's {9-}{9-} on {4-}{7-}{9-}{6-}. This river brought the final {4-} though, as well as gasps from the players at the table, shipping Fisher a double worth just under 41,000.

Players are on break for 15 minutes.

Cerminara Still Stacking

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player on the button put in what looked to be a squeeze to 15,000 over a couple of players who had 5,500 in the pot, and Frank Cerminara in middle position was the only caller. The flop came {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Cerminara checked. His opponent bet 22,000. After about a minute, Cerminara slid in enough to set him in for the last 56,000.

"Should have just gotten it in preflop," the player on the button grumbled as he folded.
