Two New Tables Opened

Nguyen Tanks and Busts Two Players

We caught this hand on the flop between Aaron Massey, Caleb Shumard and Khoa Nguyen. The board was , Massey moved all in and Shumer went deep into the tank. He thought for so long that Massey, who had a massage therapist waiting for him, got up and turned around in his seat. Eventually, a player not involved in the hand called the clock on Shumer and he moved all in.

Massey exposed his cards early on accident, with Nguyen still to act behind Shumer. Now it was Nguyen's turn to tank as he only glimpsed what Massey held. He eventually announced all in and the cards were tabled.

"What were you thinking about?" another player asked Nguyen.

The river came , Nguyen improved to a full house and eliminated Massey and Shumard. Nguyen replied that he was worried about a club coming and Massey's draw.

Season XV of the Heartland Poker Tour (HPT) is shaping up to be a big one with stops at the Hollywood Casinos in St. Louis and the Cincinnati area (Lawrenceburg, Indiana), The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Pittsburgh, and Ameristar East Chicago. What's more, the PokerNews Live Reporting Team plans to be at each of them to capture all the action.

Massey Plays His Position

An unknown player opened to 600 in early position and Aaron Massey raised to 1,800 behind him. The blinds released, the original raiser called and the flop fell . Both players checked, the turn came and the unknown player checked. Massey bet 1,000, his opponent mucked and Massey took the small pot.
