Always a Good Time for Aces

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Preflop action folded to Haris Belic in the cutoff, and he made it 2,100.

Action then folded to the big-blind player, who three-bet shoved.

Belic practically made the call as soon as the chips started coming forward. The players tabled their hands and it immediately became clear why he snap-called the all-in shove.

Belic: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, which created no sweat whatsoever for Belic, and sent the big-blind player to the rail.

Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Joe Rudy
Joe Rudy

The preflop action escaped us but we do know that it resulted in a three-way all-in pot. A short-stacked player was at risk for 6,000 while Joe Rudy was at risk in a much bigger side pot against another player.

Rudy: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Big Stack: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Short Stack: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The {9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} flop gave Rudy a gutshot straight draw but it was the {k-Diamonds} on the turn that would give him the lead.

The {8-Hearts} river was of no consequence and Rudy got lucky to knock out the short stack and double through the big.

Kendrick's Cowboys Send the Rockets Flying!

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Table 45 had heads-up action with Dane Kendrick and his opponent all-in before the flop.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Kendrick: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Kendrick's hail mary prayer was answered on the flop as {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} came out giving Kendrick kings full of tens.

The turn {7-Hearts} and river {j-Diamonds} sent Kendrick's opponent packing.

The Kicker Plays

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Steve Bezler raised to 3,000 from the UTG+1 position, and both blinds defended.

After the three players checked to the turn on a board reading {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, the small blind led out for 4,000.

The big-blind player then raised to 12,000, which was followed by an all-in shove from the UTG+1 player.

Once the player in the small blind got out of the way, the big-blind player asked for a count, and once the dealer confirmed the amount was 33,900 total he thought for a moment but eventually made the call.

He then looked a little pained once the hands were tabled and he saw he was on the wrong side of a cooler.

Bezler: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Big Blind: {j-Spades}{7-Spades}

The {9-Diamonds} river kept Bezler in the lead and secured his double up.

Diamonds Are Pretty

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The UTG player pushed all in for 8,200. Frank Mondello shoved for 6,800 and the big bling player call

UTG: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}
Mondello: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Big blind: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board showed {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Mondello hit runner-runner diamonds for the nut flush and a triple up.
