Dawson Doubles Through Pappano

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

After a limp from early position, Terry Sandifar raised to 2,400 on the button. Jeremy Pappano three-bet shoved all in for 16,000 in the small blind and Charles Dawson also pushed all in for 11,800 in the big blind. The limper folded as did Sandifar and the two remaining hands were tabled.

Charles Dawson: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Jeremy Pappano: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Dawson was in a dominating position and the flop of {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} gave him a stranglehold on the hand. Pappano picked up some outs on the {10-Clubs} turn card but the {2-Hearts} on the river gave Dawson a full double up.

Friedman Sends One to the Rail

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Adam Friedman raised it up to 700 from early position and the player on his left stuck in a three-bet to 2,100. The action folded back to Friedman who made the call to go heads-up to a flop of {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Friedman started off with a check and his opponent shoved all in for a little over 7,000. Friedman snap-called and turned over {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a set of tens. His opponent was drawing nearly dead with {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} and the {8-Hearts} on the turn sealed his fate. The river was the {8-Spades} to give Friedman a full house and eliminate his opponent.

Hiudt on the Road to Recovery

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

The board read {k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Spades} and Joey Hiudt was faced with a bet of 10,000 from the player on his right. Hiudt moved all in for 18,200 and his opponent gave it some thought before making the call.

Joey Hiudt: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

There were plenty of cards Hiudt needed to dodge in order to stay alive and the {3-Hearts} on the river happened to be one of them as he let out a sigh of relief.

"You should've seen this hand earlier," Hiudt piped up as he dragged in the bot. According to Hiudt, he flopped a flush against a set of nines only to have his opponent make quad nines on the turn which left him on a short stack.

Koch Picks Off a Bluff

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with a board of {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} already spread across the felt, Bob Koch in the small blind was heads-up with the player in the cutoff.

Koch checked and his opponent bet 5,200 into a pot of around 7,000. Koch thought for a minute before making the call and the {4-Spades} completed the board. Koch checked again and his opponent counted out a bet of 11,200. Koch instantly tossed a single chip in to signify a call and turned over {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

That proved to be good enough to earn the pot as his opponent shook his head and mucked his cards.

Warren Out Front Early On

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

Bruce Hugon opened to 700 from middle position and was called by Trevor Warren in the cutoff, Brandon Banet on the button, and Matthew Rohrer in the small blind.

The flop fell {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs} and the action checked to Warren who bet 1,100. Nobody wanted to let go of their cards yet as the other three players all called to see the {7-Clubs} on the turn.

Rohrer led out for 2,500 this time which got Hugon to fold but Warren and Banet still called. The river was the {6-Hearts} and Rohrer opted to check now. Warren announced a bet of 3,500 and both Banet and Rohrer slid their cards to the muck.
