Besaw Holds for a Double Up

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante
Kyle Besaw
Kyle Besaw

After a limp from early position, the hijack raised it up to 1,100. Kyle Besaw three-bet to 3,000 from the cutoff and Troy Weber flat-called from the button. The action folded back to the initial raiser in the hijack who also made the call.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} and the hijack checked to Besaw who continued for 5,000. Weber folded his button and the hijack called. The turn was the {2-Spades} and the hijack led out for 7,000 this time. Besaw moved all in for 15,600 and his opponent reluctantly made the call.

Besaw was ahead with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} against his opponent's one overcard and flush draw with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}. The river was the {7-Clubs} and Besaw held on to score a full double up.

Michalak Sucks Out for a Big One

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

With around 2,000 in the pot, the dealer fanned the flop of {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. It took some raising back and forth between John Michalak and Michael Kravochuck, but all of the chips got in the middle with Michalak being at risk for 28,800.

John Michalak: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Michael Kravochuck: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

Michalak flopped top two pair but Kravochuck had the straight and a stranglehold on the hand. However, the {j-Clubs} on the turn improved Michalak to a full house and he earned a full double up.

Bazeley's River Raise Doesn't Work

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A completed board of {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} was spread across the felt and Stephen Green had a bet of 2,300 sitting in front of him. Jake Bazeley contemplated what to do from the button with a pot of around 6,000 up for grabs and he dropped in a raise to 10,000.

Green thought for a brief moment and then made the call. Bazeley turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} but Green out-flopped him with {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a set of fours to scoop the pot.

Tran Flops the Nuts

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

On a flop of {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, the action was checked to David Tran in middle position who bet 1,200. Thomas Minnichweber called from the cutoff and Michaile Richards check-raised to 4,000 from the small blind. Tran and Minnichweber both called to see the {k-Diamonds} on the turn.

Richards led out for 6,000 and Tran quickly pushed all in. Minnichweber stepped aside and Richards had a decision to make for her remaining 12,000 chips. She thought for a minute and decided to muck her cards as Tran showed {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for a flopped straight.
