The Final Starting Flight Kicks Off at 12pm

The $250,000 guaranteed prizepool for the Heartland Poker Tour Lawrenceburg $1,100 Main Event has already been reached and the largest starting flight is still on the schedule. Day 1c is about to get underway at 12pm inside the ballroom at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

The first two flights saw a total of 262 entries take to the felt with 39 players already moving on to Day 2. After roughly another 12 hours of poker today, the survivors will join those already through to Day 2 on Sunday. For those that make it through, the money bubble will be on the horizon and something to look forward to.

A regular on the HPT, Timothy Burden currently has the overall chip lead with 417,000 after an impressive Day 1b. Burden used a combination of table talk and his poker skills to rattle his opponents and finish on top last night. Many of the bigger names failed to find a bag but will have one last chance to do so today.

When the cards first get in the air, players will begin with 30,000 starting chips with the blinds at 100/100. The blind levels will be 40-minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every three levels. There are a total of 15 levels on tap for today with a 60-minute dinner break scheduled for after level nine.

The players will have the option of unlimited re-entries with the late registration period open until after the dinner break. That should lead to plenty of action in the opening levels as players look to run up a stack early on.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be on the tournament floor to bring you all of the live updates throughout the day.
