Ace Again for Keller

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

After a raise from the cutoff and a call on the button, David Keller three-bet from the big blind. Both of his opponents called and the flop came {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Keller led out for 30,000 and only the cutoff called.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Keller thought for a minute before shoving all in for 82,500. His opponent went into the tank for a couple of minutes before sticking in a call. Keller tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} and was ahead of his opponent's {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. The {j-Clubs} on the river bricked off and Keller held on for a big double up.

All Four Kings for Besaw

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Kyle Besaw
Kyle Besaw

Kyle Besaw opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by George Jansen in the small blind and James Wright in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} and the action checked around to the {q-Hearts} on the turn.

Jansen and Wright checked again but Besaw tossed in a bet of 10,000 this time. Both of his opponents called and the {9-Hearts} completed the board. Jansen and Wright knuckled the table once more and Besaw bet 25,000. Jansen called and Wright quickly folded.

"I have quad kings," Besaw announced as he tabled {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

"That's a good hand," Jansen responded as he sent his cards to the muck.

Big Stacks Heading Into the Last Break

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The players are heading on their last 15-minute break of the night with around 88 players remaining. There will be three more levels before the bagging and tagging process begins.

Monster Pot Gives Jansen the Lead

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

George Jansen kicked off the action with a raise to 5,500 in middle position. Garry Simms three-bet to 14,100 on his left in the hijack and Michael Gattozzi shipped all in for 30,700 from the small blind. With the action back on Jansen, he also shoved all in and Simms eventually called off his stack of around 105,000.

George Jansen: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Garry Simms: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Michael Gattozzi: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Jansen held a sizeable lead over his two opponents in what turned out to be the largest pot of the day thus far. The board ran out {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Jansen held on with hardly a sweat.

Rogowski Takes One Out

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After a couple of preflop raises, Andy Rogowski was able to get all of the chips in the middle and have his opponent slightly covered. Fortunately for Rogowski, he had the superior pocket pair and was in great shape.

Andy Rogowski: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The flop of {8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} was safe for Rogowski with his queens still out front. The {10-Spades} on the turn left his opponent drawing to two outs and the {7-Hearts} on the river was not one of them.

Tran Stacks Off to Keller

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

With around 10,000 in the middle and the flop reading {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, David Tran led out for 10,000 from the small blind. David Keller raised to 30,000 in the hijack which sent Tran into the tank. After a couple of minutes, the clock was finally called. As Tran's time was expiring, he moved all in for 44,000 and Keller snapped him off.

David Keller: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
David Tran: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Tran was nearly drawing dead and the {2-Spades} on the turn confirmed his fate. The insignificant {j-Hearts} completed the board and Keller eliminated Tran from the competition.

Bazeley Straightens Out Pupillo

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Jake Bazeley
Jake Bazeley

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}, Jake Bazeley checked from the blinds to James Pupillo who bet 4,000 in position. Bazeley check-raised to 11,000 and Pupillo quickly stuck in all of his chips. Bazeley called off his stack of 35,800 and the cards were tabled.

Jake Bazeley: {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}
James Pupillo: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Bazeley flopped a straight but Pupillo had outs to a higher straight. However, the {6-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river changed nothing as Bazeley found a double up.

Raymer Sends One Packing

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Jeffrey Uligian raised it up from under the gun and Greg Raymer just flat-called directly to his left. The cutoff pushed all in for around 26,000 which got a fold from Uligian but Raymer made the call.

Greg Raymer: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

It was a race that Raymer was slightly leading, forcing his opponent to connect with the board. When the board ran out {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, Raymer's pocket tens held on to eliminate his opponent and climb over 100,000 chips.
