Multi-Way Pot Goes to Campbell

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Roger Campbell raised to 3,000 from the hijack, and was called by Tom Koral in the cutoff, Edward Blazer in the small blind, and Sachin Chopra in the big blind.

The {4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop was checked to Campbell, who bet 6,500. Koral called, Blazer folded, and Chopra called.

Chopra checked the {k-Clubs} turn to Campbell, who bet another 6,500. Koral and Chopra both called.

The {9-Spades} river saw Chopra lead out for 15,000, and Campbell announced, "All in," for his last 65,000. Koral folded, and Chopra quickly followed suit.

Casement Gets Paid With the Nuts

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Jim Casement
Jim Casement

Four players limped in to see a {2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop together, and the big blind bet 3,000. Jim Casement called in early position, as did Bradley Beetz on the button, while the small blind folded.

The {k-Clubs} fell on the turn, and everyone checked. The big blind bet 5,000 on the {5-Spades} river, and Casement clicked it up to 10,000. Beetz folded, and the big blind said, "Ah, Jim..."

He eventually flicked in the chip to call, only to muck after Casement revealed {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

Flush For North Dakota's Schmiess

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The complete {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board was already on the felt, and the big blind had a bet of 7,000 out in front of him. Barry Schmiess raised to 14,000, and the big blind eventually folded.

"You didn't mean to do that," Brad Sailor told Schmiess, and Schmiess revealed {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} from his hand for a runner-runner flush.

"Oh, yeah you did!" Sailor remarked as Schmiess raked in the pot to crest the six-figure marker.

Yanni Orfanos raised to 5,000 from the hijack, and Steven Jungmann three-bet to 13,000 in the big blind.

Orfanos tanked for a minute, then asked Jungmann, "You got anything behind?"

Jungmann showed Orfanos his remaining stack and said, "Eighteen-one."

Orfanos tanked for a bit longer, then asked, "Show me if I fold?" Jungmann nodded, and Orfanos folded a few moments later. Jungmann revealed the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, and Orfanos nodded as Jungmann took down the pot.

Lay Continues His Surge, Felts Barany

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Tim Barany got his last 48,000 in preflop from the small blind and was at risk against Robert Lay in the hijack.

Tim Barany: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Robert Lay: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Lay found a third queen on the {3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop, and Barany was left dead after the {9-Spades} turn filled up Lay. The {3-Spades} completed the board on the river, and Lay scooped in another pot.

Davidson Slows Down Lay's Ascent With Rockets

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Nick Davidson
Nick Davidson

After a raise from Robert Lay in middle position and a three-bet from Nick Davidson in the small blind, Lay four-bet jammed to put Davidson at risk for his last 59,200, and Davidson snapped him off.

Nick Davidson: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Robert Lay: {q-}{q-}

Lay couldn't find a third queen on a {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} board, and he sent a chunk of his stack over to last year's champ.
