Fielder Wins With Turn Bet

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Jeff Fielder
Jeff Fielder

A player in middle position raised to 2,200 and was called by both the small blind and Jeff Fielder, who defended his big blind. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and all three players checked.

The turn fell {k-Diamonds} and the small blind checked again. Fielder bet 2,500 and got a fold from the original raiser in middle position. The small blind folded behind and the pot was sent Fielder's way.

Holland Still Near 100K; Cohen Well Below Starting Stack

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

There looked to be just shy of 50,000 in the middle on a board of {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} in a pot between Jon Cohen in the big blind and Maxx Holland, who was in early position.

Cohen checked to Holland, who fired a bet of 25,000. Cohen then went into the tank for a while and eventually folded.

Since losing the pot, Cohen appears to have lost a bit more, now sitting with around 20 big blinds-worth of chips in his stack.

Horvath Quintuples Up

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Scott Horvath
Scott Horvath

Scott Horvath was down to his last 2,000 and went all in from early position. The player to his left called before action folded around to Rich Dixon, who was on the button and also called. Jeff Banghart was in the small blind and called as well, as did the big blind, leaving four players to compete for a potential side pot with any postflop action.

All four players checked through the entire runout of {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and the dealer asked for all cards to be shown.

Jeff Banghart: {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Scott Horvath: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

"Ten's good!" said a couple people on the other side of the table in unison. If any other hands were shown, it was not for long as all the other cards were mucked and Horvath was paid off, bringing him back to over 10K in chips nearing the end of Level 7.

"Just Like I Drew it Up"

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Matt Livingston
Matt Livingston

Matt Livingston raised to 2,000 from under the gun and was called by Bob Sweeney in middle position, the player in the hijack, and Richard Ferguson out of the big blind.

All four players checked through the entire runout of {8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Livingston then tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and the other three players in the hand mucked, with none having a club or any other combination of cards that could beat Livingston's kings.

"Just like I drew it up!" Livingston said emphatically in a joking manner as the pot was shipped his way.
