Ajayi Doubles With Aces

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

Kevin Kurtz and Dapo Ajayi had gotten stacks in preflop with nothing more than the big blind's chips in the middle due to a dead small blind. Both players were in early position, with Kurtz one to the left of under the gun and Ajayi on Kurtz's direct left.

Dapo Ajayi: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Kevin Kurtz: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} to score the double for Ajayi, leaving both players with 60 to 70 percent of a starting stack nearing the end of Level 3.

Wahdan Doubles

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

An all in and a call were announced as Nader Wahdan had gotten his last 16,100 in from early position against his opponent, who was on the button. There was just under 10,000 that had gone into the middle before the flop, with the remaining chips going in after the flop came {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Nader Wahdan: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Wahdan's set of sevens was firmly ahead of his opponent's overpair of kings. The turn came {9-Hearts} and the river fell {a-Spades} behind it to finish the runout, scoring the double for Wahadan in the process.

Ocksrider Wins at Showdown

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

A player raised to 600 from under the gun and was called by another player in middle position. Action folded around to Christopher Ocksrider, who also called from the small blind. The big blind then defended to take postflop action four ways, where all four players checked the flop {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Ocksrider then led out on the turn {8-Clubs}, making a bet of 800. The big blind folded, under the gun called, and the middle-position player folded. Action was then heads up for the river {q-Hearts}, where both players checked through to showdown.

Ocksrider tabled {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and his opponent flashed what looked to be {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} before mucking, resulting in Ocksrider winning the pot with his two pair, aces and eights.

Morrison Finds a Triple

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

The dealer was in the process of announcing an all in and two calls after a flop of {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Jim Morrison was the player who was all in from the small blind, having received action from the player in the big blind as well as Will Berry, who was on the button.

With the big blind and Berry having any future action going to a side pot, the big bilnd bet 6,000 on the turn {j-Spades}. Berry went all in over the top for 19,400 and received a fold, prompting him to table his hand for the river with the hopes of winning the main pot after locking down the side pot.

Will Berry: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Jim Morrison: {7-Spades}{5-Spades}

"I have a straight," Morrison had said as he tabled his hand. Berry's top set was in need of improving to win the pot and score the knockout. However, Morrison would be the one to improve as the river {10-Spades} gave him an unnecessary flush, securing the triple and finding life again as Level 3 begins.

The turn came {j-Clubs} and action checked to McEvoy again. He fired out another 4,000 and received two folds, earning him the pot.
