Hand #1:
Nick Pupillo raised to 1,500 from under the gun, and the button called. David Moses three-bet to 6,000 from the small blind, and Pupillo and the button folded.
Hand #2:
The very next hand, the cutoff raised to 1,500, and Pupillo defended his big blind.
Both players checked the 
flop, and the 
fell on the turn. Pupillo bet 1,600 and the cutoff quickly folded.

Jeffrey Copeland, who shipped Event #10: $300 Six-Max earlier in the series, raised to 1,200 from middle position, and John Utley called in the cutoff. Keith Pickler three-bet to 3,200 from the button, and both Copeland and Utley called.
Action checked to Pickler on a 
flop, and he simply moved all in for 16,400. Copeland folded, while Utley went into the tank. After a minute, he counted down his stack, then placed calling chips in the pot.

Pickler's nines still had to fade a three or king to survive, and they did just that on the 
turn and 
river.
"Well, I was wrong!" Utley said with a grin, taking the loss in good-natured stride.
A player limped in from under the gun, and Nick Pupillo raised to 2,000 from middle position. Kyle Kinder called from the hijack, as did the under-the-gun player.
Action checked to Kinder on a 
flop, and he bet 2,000. Only the under-the-gun player called.
The 
turn was checked by the under-the-gun player, and Kinder bet 5,000. Kinder's opponent folded.
Bradley Beetz, who teamed up with Mary Sturges to win Event #8: $400 Tag Team earlier in the series, checked a 
board from the small blind, and the cutoff bet 2,500 into a pot of 9,000.
Beetz responded with a check-raise to 15,000, and the cutoff, who had 17,100 remaining in his stack, went deep into the tank. Two minutes ticked by before the cutoff folded, and Beetz raked in the pot.
Three players invested 1,600 to see a flop together, and David Simon checked in the small blind. The hijack checked, and Jonathan Williams bet 2,600. Only Simon called.
Simon led out for 3,500 on the 
turn, and Williams called.
The river saw Simon bet 8,000, and Williams called again. Simon tabled 
for the nuts, and Williams said, "Wow!" before mucking.
