Carvalho Triple Barrels and Crashes Out

Level 2 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Patrick White raised to 300 from middle position and Augusto Lima de Carvalho called. Ricardo Sousa reraised to 1,100 and was called by Valeri Vilhemov on the button, as well as White and Carvalho. Four players went to the flop.

The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. White checked and Carvalho bet 3,300. Vilhemov was the only player who called the bet. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Carvalho bet 11,000, which Vilhemov called.

The river was the {2-Spades} and Carvalho moved all in for his remaining 16,000. Vilhemov snapped him off. Carvalho showed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens and Vilhemov showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for the flopped nut flush.

That left Carvalho devestated and the following hand he moved all in for his last few chips. Ricardo Sousa and Seamus Quinn made the call and checked it down to the river, at which point Sousa bet out and Quinn folded. Sousa showed a flush and Carvalho was eliminated from the tournament.

Gerard Harraghy
Gerard Harraghy

Gerard Harraghy and Karl Gialanze were fighting over a pot of 9,500 on the board of {2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Small blind Harrahgy had checked to Gialanze in the hijack, who bet 3,500. Harraghy made the call, and the {7-Diamonds} river rolled off.

Both players now checked and the {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} of Gialanze was no match for the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Harraghy, who raked in a nice pot just before the break.

Finally, he actually talks to Connor about nearly losing $10,000, which had to be fished out of a trash can. Find out the story behind what happened from Deeb himself.

Also, hear from the legendary Vanessa Selbst, who stepped away from poker years ago but has recently dipped her toe back in as a part of the WSOP Thrill Team. Big Action Preflop, Little Action Postflop

Level 2 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Mitchell Hynam opened to 300 from middle position and cutoff Michail Tastanis three-bet to 1,000. Hynam then responded with a four-bet to 2,700 and Tastanis called.

There was bound to be a big pot brewing between the two, however both players checked down the {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades} board, and the turned pair of Hynam's {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} was good enough to win the pot against the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} of Tastanis.

Unusual Line Works Out as Geng Wins One From Saade

Level 2 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante
Xiaohui Geng
Xiaohui Geng

Eddie Saade raised from the cutoff and Xiaohui Geng reraised to 700 chips. Saade made the call and two players went to the flop.

The flop was {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Saade checked, Geng bet and Saade called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}. Saade checked and Geng put out a small bet of 200, which was only a fraction of the total pot. Saade raised to 1,100 and Geng three-bet to 6,200. Saade twiddled his chips and creased his forehead in confusion before making the call.

The river was the {j-Clubs}. Saade checked again and Geng put out a tiny bet of 200. Saade wasn't going to be roped in to a raising war this time, instead opting to make the call.

Geng flipped over {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a full house and took the pot.

Hasson Gets Caught

Level 2 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Ori Hasson raised his button to 300, and received calls from Hugh Smyth and George Timmons in the blinds. The flop of {9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} saw Hasson continuation-bet for 600 after checks from both of his opponents. Only big blind Timmons called, and the dealer put out the {k-Hearts} turn.

Timmons checked to Hasson again, who now chose to bet 1,500 chips. Timmons made the call and the {a-Diamonds} river appeared.

Timmons deliberated for a while but decided to take the betting lead by putting in 1,700. Hasson in his turn gathered some raising chips and put them in the middle. It turned out the raise amounted to 8,000. Timmons mulled it over for a while before he ultimately made the call.

Hasson shook his head and tabled {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. His bluff attempt was caught by the two pair of Timmons, who showed {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the winning two pair.
