Carr Finds Double Amongst Pre-Bubble Bustout Bonanza

The field has shrunk significantly after the dinner break, with now 329 players remaining. Paul Carr was one of the many players who found the courage to wager all of their chips after they had filled their bellies with some fuel.

He raised all-in to 80,000 from the button. Karl Hedderman was in the big blind and, after getting an approximation of Carr's stack, made the call.

After the flop of Carr employed the infamous stand up trick. The turn fell whilst he stood up, put his coat on, and let out a big sigh.

When the river hit, Carr let out an audible ''Oh my God'', and quickly sat back down to collect his now doubled stack.

Samperio Hits Quad Queens

Michael McGarry moved all in from early position for around 39,000 and Jon Gomez Samperio also moved all in from late position. Samperio was at risk of elimination as players flipped their cards.

The board ran out . The flop gave Samperio trips and the turn brought the final queen to give him quads and the double up. McGarry had stood up to leave but the dealer beckoned him to sit back down, as he still had around 20,000 chips to play with.

Cahill Scoops One Million Pot, Gathers Huge Chip Lead

When the action was caught the hand was already completed, but heaps of chips were in the middle of the table and were being counted by the dealer.

It concerned a preflop all-in situation between the two big stacks Seamus Cahill and Richard Berridge, with Cahill's still on the felt, together with a board of . Berridge's hand was already in the muck but was said to be .

It was found that the all-in was for 526,000 after the dealer got done counting the hundreds of chips. Cahill covered Berridge by a bit and thus got a full double-up. Cahill is now in possession of a vehement chip lead as the bubble inches closer by the hand.

On the other side, Berridge was left with just over a starting stack, worth less than ten big blinds at this point.

Fisz Gets Aces Before Table Breaks

James McDevitt had raised from the hijack to 8,500 before Elias Fisz went all-in for 104,500 from the button. McDevitt got an exact count before he unhappily put the rest of his chips in. He raised his hands in frustration when he saw what he was up against.

Both players hit a full house on the runout, but the river only improved Fisz's hand. A full double for Fisz, who is on a heater this year with two six-figure scores at EPT Paris and WPT Amsterdam.
