The 7♣ river then completed the board and saw Samson make a bet of 12,000. Stavrakis quickly flicked in a call and Samson tabled 9♣5♣ for a straight.

Thinking he had won, Stavrakis flipped over his A♠10♠, but he quickly saw that the pot was shipped to Samson. Meanwhile, defending champion David Docherty is also at this table and has doubled his starting stack.

Kozieja opted to downsize to 2,300 after another check from O'Flynn, leaving himself 8,000 chips back. O'Flynn then put the Polish player all in, and a swift fold followed, seeing the pot shipped O'Flynn's way.

The 7♥ turn completed the board and McAree quickly moved all in, covering the 14,000 chips Kyte had left. Kyte tossed in a call, but tried to muck his cards when McAree showed Q♠J♣ for a full house.

The dealer turned over Kyte's A♥8♥ to confirm his elimination, and he quickly left the tournament area.
