Bonanata Scoops Sizeable Pot

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was picked up with Marcelo Bonanata, Maksim Petrov and Ryan Stiner having committed 20,000 chips each to the pot.

The 9103 flop saw Bonanata move all in from the small blind for 29,300. Stiner called and Petrov folded.

Marcelo Bonanata: 87All in
Ryan Stiner: KK

Stiner was drawing dead on the 6 as that gave Bonanata a straight and a redraw to a flush, not that it was needed. The 9 river was a mere formality and Bonanata took the pot.

Action was picked up with Wei Zheng all in and at risk versus Niall Farrell.

Wei Zheng: KQAll in
Niall Farrell: JJ

Farrell offered to switch hands with Zheng as he believed he wouldn't win. However the J39 provided Farrell with top set. Still thinking he would somehow lose, those thoughts were quashed on the J turn as Zheng was now drawing dead. The K was inconsequential and Zheng was eliminated.
