Surovec Stacked by Fechita

Martin Surovec was all in for 100,000 from under the gun. Eduard Fechita called in middle position. Nikolaos Angelou called on the button as did Robert Sherwood in the small blind and Patrick Eagers from the big blind.

Both blinds checked the 10♦J♥2♦ flop to Fechita who quickly moved all in. Angelou, Sherwood and Eagers all folded.

Catching the action on a river of 5♠2♠9♦9♣A♦, Adrian Ziemichod and Vasileios Zisis had expanded a blind-on-blind pot to 1,000,000.

Ziemichod then tanked for a minute or so before making a bet of 250,000, which was snapped off by Zisis.

Ziemichod tabled 7♦3♣ for seven-high, which was no good against the A♥4♣ of Zisis, who had rivered top pair.

Mark Murphy opened to 100,000 from the hijack. Robert Sherwood raised to 300,000 from the button. Murphy then raised all in for around 1,000,000, Sherwood called.

The 9♠Q♠J♠ flop gave both players a piece, but Sherwood had top pair and a superior spade. However the 8♠ gave Murphy a straight flush leaving Sherwood drawing dead. The 5♦ was inconsequential and Murphy celebrated his double up.

Stephen Freeman raised to 100,000 in middle position and called when Florian Duta made it 325,000 to go from the cutoff. The flop fell 10♣10♥6♥, where Duta continued for 250,000.

Freeman check-raised to 600,000, and Duta called to the 4♠ turn. Freeman seemed to slow down, checking over to Duta again, prompting Duta to bet 550,000.

Freeman then shipped in 1,200,000, however, and Duta could only laugh as he quickly mucked his cards.
