Palandiuk Comes Out Firing; Gisolfi Starts Active

Level 36 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Francesco Gisolfi opened 66 to 1,200,000 in middle position. It folded to Vasyl Palandiuk in the big blind, who defended A4. Palandiuk checked the 45A flop over to Gisolfi, who continued for 700,000.

Palandiuk then fired a huge raise to 4,800,000. Gisolfi quickly mucked his pocket pair, seeing his former chips being added to Palandiuk's stack.

One hand later, Gisolfi found 109 in early position and raised to 1,200,000. Matthew Twomey defended his big blind with Q7, and the flop fell 8A7.

Twomey checked it over to Gisolfi before quickly folding his bottom pair to the latter's bet of 700,000, surrendering the pot.

Vasyl Palandiuk open-raised to 1,200,000 in the cutoff. Jarkko Suokas then three-bet jammed his stack of 13,600,000 in from the small blind, and chip leader Danilo Donnini reshoved in the big blind.

Palandiuk immediately mucked his cards, forcing a showdown between the other two players.

Jarkko Suokas: KQ All in
Danilo Donnini: QQ

Suokas needed a king to stay in contention for the title, but the deck had none in store on the J5265 runout. Suokas packed his bags in tenth place, and the remaining nine players were redrawn for the final table.

Edward Dunphy raised his button to 1,300,000. Oliver Gayko was in the small blind and three-bet to 3,800,000, which Dunphy called.

Gayko continued for 2,000,000 on the 428 flop. Dunphy called to the A turn, where Gatko kept firing, this time for the amount of 3,000,000.

Dunphy spent some time in the tank before he moved all in, and Gayko snapped off his stack of 12,200,000.

Oliver Gayko: 22 All in
Edward Dunphy: 65

Dunphy's combo draw did not come in the Q river. Gayko's set doubled him up in the massive pot, while Dunphy was left with a stack of just six big blinds.

The trio then checked through the A5Q flop, leading the dealer to place the 2 on the turn. The action checked to Donnini again, but this time he bet 1,600,000.

Palandiuk and Suokas folded in quick succession, and the pot was sent to the tournament chip leader.

Barker Does Not Buy Nedelcu's Three-Bet

Level 36 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Isaac Barker made it 1,200,000 in the cutoff with AQ. Narcis Nedelcu then three-bet his A4 to 3,600,000 on the button, to which Barker responded by four-betting to 8,500,000.

Nedelcu considered his options, spending one of his time banks while doing so. Eventually, he chose to believe Barker and let his hand go, forfeiting the pot.
