Egan Eviscerates O'Donovan

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Lee Egan
Lee Egan

Lee Egan in middle position and Kieran O'Donovan in the hijack had built a pot of 125,000 when Egan slid in a bet of 25,000 on the completed board of 92K78, enough to put his opponent all-in.

O'Donovan weighed his options for a while, but deemed his odds to good and called for his tournament life.

Egan triumphantly tabled KK for top set, leaving the A9 of O'Donovan in the dust and sending his neighbor to the rail.

Parker Talbot

Jamie Brent and Parker Talbot were heads up on a 10K77 turn. With 35,000 in the pot, Brent checked to Talbot, who fired a bet of 12,000. Brent called to the 2 river, where Talbot put him all-in.

Brent quickly called off KxQx, but he was outkicked by the AK of Talbot and took his exit.

Talbot raked in the pot and added even more chips to his stack, ending with over 200 big blinds in his possession.

Lommerud Lets Park Out

Level 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Arriving on a completed board of A9Q24, Kevin Parkes checked from the big blind to Yngve Lommerud in the hijack. With 60,000 already in the middle, Lommerud moved all in, covering Parkes' stack of 85,000.

Parkes spent a few minutes in the tank before he slammed in a call. Lommerud immediately stood up in triumph as he slammed AA on the table for top set. Parkes sheepishly showed A2 as his two pair resulted in his exit.

Ferrari Calls Better

Level 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

In a pot of 60,000, Vytautas Krasauskas placed a bet of 25,000 on the completed board of 91010Q9 from the small blind. Manuel Ferrari took some time on the button before he flicked in a call.

Krasauskas tabled JJ, but his jacks were no good against the Q9 of Ferrari, who had made a full house to win the pot.
