O'Donovan weighed his options for a while, but deemed his odds to good and called for his tournament life.
Egan triumphantly tabled K♦K♣ for top set, leaving the A♥9♦ of O'Donovan in the dust and sending his neighbor to the rail.

Jamie Brent and Parker Talbot were heads up on a 10♦K♥7♣7♦ turn. With 35,000 in the pot, Brent checked to Talbot, who fired a bet of 12,000. Brent called to the 2♦ river, where Talbot put him all-in.
Brent quickly called off KxQx, but he was outkicked by the A♣K♠ of Talbot and took his exit.
Talbot raked in the pot and added even more chips to his stack, ending with over 200 big blinds in his possession.
Arriving on a completed board of A♣9♥Q♠2♥4♣, Kevin Parkes checked from the big blind to Yngve Lommerud in the hijack. With 60,000 already in the middle, Lommerud moved all in, covering Parkes' stack of 85,000.
Parkes spent a few minutes in the tank before he slammed in a call. Lommerud immediately stood up in triumph as he slammed A♥A♦ on the table for top set. Parkes sheepishly showed A♠2♦ as his two pair resulted in his exit.
In a pot of 60,000, Vytautas Krasauskas placed a bet of 25,000 on the completed board of 9♠10♥10♦Q♦9♣ from the small blind. Manuel Ferrari took some time on the button before he flicked in a call.
Krasauskas tabled J♥J♣, but his jacks were no good against the Q♥9♥ of Ferrari, who had made a full house to win the pot.
