With 17,700 in the pot, the dealer fanned the 56J for Raoul van Wersch in the big blind and Vasileios Paramythellis in the cutoff. Van Wersch checked to Paramythellis, who bet 7,500.

Van Wersch called to the 8 turn and checked it. Paramythellis then put in a bet of 20,500, leaving only 5,200 behind. After some thought, Van Wersch decided to put his opponent all-in, and he received a quick call.

Vasileios Paramythellis: A4 All in
Raoul van Wersch: 1010

Van Wersch faded his opponent's outs on the 4 river, leaving him without chips and sending him to the exit.

Ward Catches Power's Bluff for Huge Double-Up

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Raymond Power in the big blind and Joe Ward on the button had gathered 25,000 in the pot when they went to the J102 flop. Both players checked, prompting Power to bet 14,000 on the 7 turn.

Ward instantly called to the 10 river, where Power shoved all in. Ward's stack of 59,400 was slightly covered, and he took some time to think things through.

After about 30 seconds, Ward slammed in a call. Power tried to muck his cards, but the dealer revealed K9 for an attempted bluff.

Ward had called with KJ for jacks and tens, and he took down the enormous pot to be among the leaders in the room.

Three-way to a K29 flop with around 5,000 in the middle, Sean Foley checked in the big blind before Ian Bosley bet 3,200 under the gun. Stribor Gruicic then upped the ante to 8,000, folding out Foley.

Bosley called to the 7 turn, however, which he checked over to Gruicic. Gruicic piled in a bet of 13,000 and quickly called when Bosley put him all-in for 38,400 in total.

Stribor Gruicic: 22 All in
Ian Bosley: AK

Gruicic's bottom set had already locked up the pot, and the inconsequential 6 river was dealt before he was shipped his double-up.

Lommerud Crosses Six Figures

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Yngve Lommerud in the big blind, Patrice Boudet under the gun, and Barny Boatman in middle position had built a pot of 27,500 when they went to the Q74Q turn. Lommerud bet 10,000, seeing Boudet call and Boatman fold.

Lommerud sized up to 25,000 on the 5 river. Boudet gave it some more thought, eventually settling on a fold to forfeit the pot.
