If you’ve ever wondered just how far a tiny buy-in on PokerStars can really take you, 2026 might be the best time yet to find out.
Power Path is now a permanent part of PokerStars, and with players able to pick up a free $0.50 Step 1 Power Path ticket every day through PokerStars Rewards, getting started has never been easier. What began as a new idea a few years ago has quietly become one of the most popular ways for everyday players to turn small stakes into something much bigger.
Over the past few years, Power Path has sent players to both online and live events around the world, with Special Edition Gold Passes covering everything from buy-ins to travel and accommodation. PokerNews takes a look at how the Power Path works in 2026 and the different Passes you can win.
The players have been sent on another 20-minute break.
Shane Egan three-bet all in for 10,500 in the cutoff, and was looked up by Kristof Everaerts in the big blind. The original raiser got out of the way, and the pair showed down.
Shane Egan: A♥K♠
Kristof Everaerts: Q♦Q♣
Egan received no help on the 9♥7♦7♠9♣5♦ runout, sending him to the rail a few minutes before the break.

Stephen Dillon limped in under the gun without having seen his cards, after which Jakub Juklicek raised to 2,400 as next to act. Kamil Lakomy called in the hijack, and Dillon also called once it had folded back to him.
Juklicek tossed in another 2,400 on the 8♦10♦6♠ flop. Dillon immediately called, but was notified that he had acted out of turn. Dillon apologized as he thought it was heads up, after which Lakomy moved all in for 13,900.
Dillon wanted to rejam but was informed he could only call due to his action out of turn, so he called. Juklicek also called and snap-called Dillon when he shoved in his stack of 33,000 on the Q♠ turn.
Kamil Lakomy: 10♣7♣
Stephen Dillon: Q♦2♦
Jakub Juklicek: J♥9♦
No diamond arrived on the 2♥ river. Juklicek's straight remained the nuts, and he shipped the big pot to knock out both opponents and cross four starting stacks in chips.

Milan van Tuijl made it 1,300 in the cutoff and called when Kalle Salmela three-bet to 4,600 in the big blind. Salmela continued for 5,500 on the J♣9♠3♣ flop, and Van Tuijl called to the Q♦ turn.
Salmela slowed down and checked, prompting Van Tuijl to slide in a bet of 15,400. Salmela quickly released his cards, and the pot was sent Van Tuijl's way.
