Daniel Lewis raised to 80,000 in the hijack. Jeff Kirsch then pushed in his final 410,000 on the button, and John Barker quickly reshoved for 1,220,000 in the small blind.
Lewis went deep into the tank, but eventually decided a fold was best and mucked his cards.
Jeff Kirsch: K♠Q♠
John Barker: A♥J♥
Both players paired on the 5♣K♦A♦ flop, but only Kirsch made two pair on the Q♣ turn. The 6♥ river helped neither player, deciding the pot in Kirsch's favor.
Narcis Nedelcu opened to 100,000 from middle position, which saw Kenneth Svendsen respond with a three-bet to 325,000 from the hijack. The action returned to Nedelcu, who four-bet to 700,000, which Svendsen called.
Both players checked on the 3♠9♦6♠ flop, and the A♠ turn joined the board.
Nedelcu checked, prompting Svendsen to put a bet of 600,000 into the middle. After a moment's consideration, Nedelcu moved all in for 2,200,000. Svendsen didn't love the situation, but called nonetheless.
Narcis Nedelcu: A♣K♦
Kenneth Svendsen: A♦K♣
As it turned out, the two players had the same hand.
The dealer completed the board with the 9♠ before chopping the pot and moving on.
In the cutoff, Gavin Sardini opened to 100,000 off of a huge stack. Seamus Cahill then three-bet to 275,000 on the button, and Sardini called after it had folded back to him.
The Q♣2♠3♦ flop saw Cahill continue for 100,000. Sardini gave it some thought, but opted to muck his cards and grant the pot to his opponent.
Jokin Cendoya raised to 650,000, leaving himself just 15,000 behind. Not realising the bet was not an all-in, Gavin Sardini called and flipped over his cards, revealing ace-king.
The floor was called, and they ruled that the hand would play as normal, just that Cendoya would have the obvious extra information of his opponent's hand.
The dealer spread a king-high 9♣K♥2♣ flop, and Sardini bet 50,000. Cendoya called for his remaining 15,000.
Jokin Cendoya: A♠J♦
Gavin Sardini: A♣K♦
There was no saving grace for Cendoya, as the 4♦ turn and Q♠ river completed the board.
Barry Furlong opened to 110,000 from middle position, only to see Tomas Flanagan three-bet to 325,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Furlong, who called.
The dealer spread a K♠8♣3♦ flop, and both players checked.
Furlong led out for 250,000 on the 9♠ turn, which Flanagan called.
The Q♥ completed the board, and Furlong put 400,000 into the middle. Again, Flanagan called.
Furlong flipped over K♣J♠, which was enough to beat the K♥10♦ of Flanagan.
Frederico Morais was all in against Mo Xu, putting his stack of 850,000 at risk.
Frederico Morais: A♥K♥
Mo Xu: A♠A♦
Morais needed runner-runner outs after the 4♣6♣Q♣ flop, but the 8♥ turn sealed the pot in the favor of Xu. Morais shared some fist bumps as the 10♥ river was dealt, and exited the tournament area.
