Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Matthew Blayney
Matthew Blayney

The bubble has just burst here in the Main Event.

Glenn Keogh opened to 32,000 in the cutoff and was faced with a three-bet jam by Matthew Blayney to 236,000 in the small blind. Keogh made the call to put Blayney at risk.

Matthew Blayney: AQ
Glenn Keogh: AJ

Blayney was in a dominating position but the players seemed set for a chopped pot after the board ran out K99K.

Keogh called for a jack as the dealer prepared to put out the river, and sure enough the J rolled off to seal a painful exit for Blayney.

Keogh meanwhile chipped up to a huge stack of 1,500,000.

Murphy Soft Bubbles, Ainsworth Survives

Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Juan Diaz-Caneja raised from early position before Colette Murphy jammed all in for 241,000 from the next seat over. The action folded back to Diaz-Caneja, who quickly called.

Once all other tables finished play, a showdown was ordered.

Juan Diaz-Caneja: KK
Colette Murphy: AK

No ace appeared on the 8Q434 board, resulting in Murphy finishing two spots before the money.

On another table, Jude Ainsworth was all-in for his final 16,000 chips against Huy Hang.

Jude Ainsworth: Q10
Huy Hang: 44

Ainsworth paired his ten on the 3610 flop, and while the 5 turn brought a sweat, the A river remained clean as the bubble kept going.

O'Malley comfortably covered Connolly but took some time over his decision before making the call.
